Yeah I always preface the GNFP videos with "if you believe he knows his stuff" because anyone can highlight what THEY see HOW they see it and look convincing. To his credit he does acknowledge there are things he does not know regarding assignments on certain plays but as much as i like the videos I take them with a grain of salt because he uses hyperbole and gets a little too high or too low on players and schemes for my liking.

I agree with most of your take. I think a lot of people who don't know Xs and Os are bashing the scheme because it's easy to latch on to that narrative since it's been pushed. People also like to bash our talent and rightfully so in some cases but here's the thing. If the scheme is bad and the talent is bad how did we have a relatively productive offense this year outside of the Kentucky meltdown? I don't count the bowl game. There are definitely concerns with the play calling flow and game management but we have a lot to look forward too as well considering how we produced this year without a dynamic receiving corps and while, an inconsistent QB and a brand new scheme. Imagine the offense when kids know it better, play it faster and have better players. People need to chill

Paul Finebaum was in the right spot at the right time when he was “gifted” the job as commentator on the SEC network.
I watched his show a few times in its early days and grew tired of it and him very quickly.
He is good at piling on players, coaches and programs when they are going through tough times but offers no real insight or intelligent discourse to any topic he addresses. He only has a degree of recognition because of his position with the SEC network.
I read less and less of his commentary and don’t watch him at all.

First, AR imo would not have made a difference in the game but we'll never know for sure.
Secondly, a great deal of what has been said is critical observation, without regurgitating we basically have issues with coaching and player personnel. Most of what is posted is what posters do, share insights, opinions and observations.
But to the OP we can tilt towards being chicken little as in the sky is falling. We have seen last 3 coaches have great success quickly only to fizzle out. BN seems to be more of a foundational guy like the proverbial tortoise. Personally, I need to temper my own negativity and trust the process even when I don't see it or feel it. We can't keep on hiring and firing head coaches. There is no way BN is going to be let go without giving him a real chance of turning the program around and that may take a few years. Heck, in 3 years fsu is moving in the right direction when their fans were ready to burn him at the stake. So, in all kinds of weather we're all stick together... I'm rooting for him to succeed and will choose to focus on the positives of the program.

The NIL was not intended to be a recruiting tool. Of course, with no regulations, that’s exactly what it has turned into. The UM’s and aTm’s of the world have subverted it for their own benefit and now everyone else is following.

Paul Finebaum and Mike Bianchi are, without a doubt, the two opinions I care least about in all of college football "journalism." One makes his living off pumping Alabama and Tennessee, and, the other makes his living trashing Florida (the very program that gave him his career). To hell with them both. Go Gators!

Paul is a hack. Always was. Still is. I assume he has no mirrors in his house. He should wear Groucho glasses with the nose. He's trying to help send kids elsewhere with his comments. Zero class. He should go back to the land of dweeb.

Napier is a good guy. He's won a conference title and he can recruit. I hope Florida can adapt to the NIL stuff and do what the other teams are doing to make the playing field even. We do not have the luxury of falling behind any further. That being said, the foundational rebuild is coming along. Some of the comments players have made give me hope.

Brotherhood or $? They are not mutually exclusive. But we know what money can do to a mind.

Remember when the studs of the NBA years ago went to the Olympics and stunk it up? I actually loved it. Not because I wanted to see USA lose, but because they were a bunch of 'it's all about me' NBA stars rather than a team. Zero chemistry and unity.

We'll get the right kids, they'll be brothers in arms and this whole organization will ramp up rather nicely. Quite frankly, I'm not sure even Napier expected this year to be so inconsistent. With the right recruits and effort, consistency will emerge, along with winning.

I hope AR grows into a good NFL QB. It was the most fun, exciting and frustrating year watching a Gator QB that I can ever remember.

Love and Blessings to Gator Nation during this Holiday season. We will prevail...

    Go Gators.;)
