Nonprofit with ties to Stacey Abrams received $2 Billion in taxpayer funds

Libbies hate the new government way.
They want to tie our tax dollars up wasting away.
Anyone challenging the old way will upset them Libbies.
It’s awesome.

 

The story has been reported by many more sources than just Cronin. But apparently the Stacey Abrams connection: Power Forward Communities, which got the grant, is large coalition of nonprofit organizations including the United Way and Habitat for Humanity. One of the groups is Rewiring America, which was not founded by Abrams but she did join it as senior counsel a couple of years ago.

 

Next time they tell you the truth will be the first time

The weird thing, at this point, isn't that MAGA members are so easily conned. Or that MAGA members simply repeat these lies without researching or learning a single damn thing about them. We've seen both these things happen over and over and over again .....

The truly strange thing is that all the other MAGAs just watch it and are either like "dude tried to peddle a pack of lies? no big deal." Or they're like "I'll just scroll past this - pretend it didn't happen."

It's just amazing. Not that those MAGAs who choose to be nutters and self-caricatures are OK with this - that's expected. But that all the rest of them are. I'm not sure about the proportionality, but there are still some somewhat reasonable people in MAGA that just tolerate the constant lies and misinformation. It's fascinating.

 

If DOGE is the source I have serious doubts as to its credibility.

 

So really we should be stringing @tilly up since he has ties to this $2 billion.

In all seriousness we (Habitat) are very transparent with funding and Its one of the reasons I chose this organization when looking to move on from a prior non-profit that wasnt so transparent.

this is MAGA, the strength, age, depth, or nature of the relationship doesn't matter..

 

I suspect some post outlandish things here to get fact checked. They then turn around to beat down there crazy uncle. Easier than doing their own research.

 

The grant is indeed real although what Elon, Zeldin and the right-wing media of MAGA land failed to note was that Stacey Abrams was only tangentially connected to the organization and it distributed the funds through grants to a significant number of nonprofit organizations and local governmental entities for many projects.
