I played pickup against him once at Illinois.

    He was really good.

What are you talking about? The point is that these weren’t lies or misrepresentations. They weren’t libelous.

Legally you're right . . . but whatever it is, hearing the same bashing for the 48th time in the 12th different thread doesn't add to any discussion. Not saying that last part about you @GatorLurker

Just today though we had a good discussion thread that had to be deleted because it was immediately derailed. C'mon please . . . enough is enough.

Clifford Rozier (RIP) is another one that left the state but maybe at the tail end of the 1980's.

It is like the difference between jail and prison. They are not the same.

Saw him play once. He was sneaky good. He didn’t overwhelm you so much as outsmart and out-fundamental you, plus he could flat-out shoot.

I am trained as an engineer. I am also trained in mathematics and by that I mean proofs at the graduate level. My wife is trained as a lawyer. Precision is paramount in all three endeavors. In each one precision in what you say is critical. Sloppiness leads to bad results.

Much like the Gator passing yesterday. Making the right pass, but way too sloppy, did not get the job done. Our passing was horrible. We turned the ball over a lot and not all of them were bad passes, but any turnover due to a bad pass is one too many.

My PhD was in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. I taught at UF in Engineering Sciences and then Aerospace, Mechanics and Engineering Sciences and then Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

You might not like me, but I was always wanting to raise the level at UF. Some students loved me and some students hated me.

Well I do like you as a poster, no I did not study under you, my particular field is Mechanical Engineering, very specifically fluid mechanics and in particular steam and chilled water distribution / power plants.

    Thanks for sharing.

Derek Harper was a fantastic basketball player. He still talks about GL. “ There was this guy I played a pickup game against. I think that he was trying to find the shuffleboard courts, but he ended up in our pickup game. We all tried to make sure that we didn’t hurt him. I think he survived.”

I remember him when he played at north shore high school (down here in riviera beach). School closed down shortly after he left. Had some decent high school teams down here back then, including Suncoast ( with Richard Relford who went to Michigan).

‘One of his best teams’…based on what? I don’t see much talent outside of maybe reeves.

Again, I am speaking of the more general term used for social media. Its a common term. Its hyperbolic of course, but that was my reference for the term.

I like Lane think Kennedy has talent also JJ looked much better if he improves some hecan be good.
The 3 freshman have talent and in basketball freshman can help from the start.
Also not like he has had many teams that would be hard to be better than.
Felder has talent when healthy again just what I believe or maybe it's hope.
