I’m sure it is all totally legit and now they have lost their 5th Amendment right if called to testify about this issues.

And it wouldn't have happened if Donnie and the Republicans weren't obsessed with retribution and the mythical Biden crime family. Even if none of them broke the law they could have been placed in the position of having to incur massive legal fees defending themselves against frivolous investigations and prosecution.

Perhaps their memory won't fail as much as the felon's son, even though they're older.

Yeah, if only one side had not crossed the Rubicon and decided to prosecute a former POTUS rather than forcing them to take a pardon.

What the wosrt that could happen? Trump wins in ‘24?

I hope the same people who are OK with this is because of Trump, are not going to complain when Trump does the same thing in Jan ‘29.

Ironically, Congressional Republicans can now subpoena members of Joe Biden's family, Hunter and James coming immediately to mind, and they really couldn't invoke the 5th Amendment to avoid testifying since they couldn't be prosecuted.

Yup. But I really hope Republicans just can take a W and move on from investigating the Bidens. That also assumes the Biden take a hint and follow W’s post Presidency example.

Pelosi’s daughter gve the Biden’s a preview of what they are going to get if they decide to sti k around and sound off.

That pesky thing called jurisprudence. Here I thought that justice (being blind) wasn't to account for the former POTUS's position.

Biden had the power to say Trump committed a crime and issue him a pardon. Why not force Trump to either admit he committed a crime instead of breaking one of the biggest political notms we have had in this country since the 1970’s?

Now we have the worst of both worlds. Trump is POTUS again and Democrats have given him permission to prosecute his political enemies.

BTW, both Haley and DeSantis staffs said the primary was over once Trump was charged.

They can just forget everything, or say they weren't aware, like Pam Bondi : "I'm really not aware of what happened on January 6th. "

Hopefully the Bidens will have have the same option that W had. Although W left office amid a lot of criticism there was never any talk of prosecuting him or members of the Bush family. Republicans may still be obsessed with retribution although hopefully as you suggested maybe they will savor their victory and move on.
