Yeah. 15 is sorta sacred at this point anyway.

Assuming he proves to be Draft and NFL-worthy, I agree that teams probably wouldn't have passed on him over this. But potential sponsors?

As I said, maybe, maybe not. Sexual assault allegation is just that an allegation until proven otherwise. Sexual assault is also not on the front page of the papers (or digital equivalent) every single day in America right now. People are not out protesting in the streets across America and in front of Congress to "Ban DeShaun Watson". They are demanding the end of access to AR-15's in this country.

Totally agree, but it is what it is. Watson is not the only NFL player accused of violence against women who were/are playing in the NFL. That is a whole other huge problem.

However, brining it back to UF - ditching "AR-15" as a nick name is an overdue positive decision for Richardson and his team.

Don't blame Gator fans. They're no different than anyone else. Twitter is a scourge on society, and a playground for "scumbag behavior" all over the country. The best thing to do is ignore it, though I know that's impossible if you have an account. You couldn't pay me to have one.

I’ll say this… when I was at UF, I didn’t see half of this sentiment. Maybe, I was just in a bubble. Maybe, people were just not willing to say things directly to my face. I had a different understanding of what Gator Nation is until I joined this forum. I thought that these kinds of views were mostly in the past, with respect to UF’s fans and alumni. Sometimes, I wish I didn’t know what I know today.

Video is the differentiator. So long as no vid pops, it’s “survivable.”

    Ray Rice: instant erasure.

    Randy Gregory: welcome to Dallas!

Not a fan of the PC police.

    I like the nickname AR-15.

The team name "Houston Colt .45s" is much cooler than "Houston Astros."

Only two of the cases included claims of sexual assault: Watson was said in both cases to have pressured women to perform oral sex during massages and was accused in one of also having grabbed a woman’s buttocks and vagina.

I guess I would need to understand the pressure. Was it I will badmouth you across the industry or was it I will give you $500? Did he grab one that agreed to the extra services for extra compensation or someone that told him no? Detailsamtter and this whole story has been full of inuendo and inferences but little detail

Not sure about you, but most men have used their best line of chit to try and get some at some point? When does begging and pleading or offering up trades rise to the point of pressure deemed to be assault? I would like to think that I have never assaulted a woman but I can't say that I have never "pressured" a woman to give me a chance to convince her she made a good choice.

He's a creep, I get that, just not sure that a criminal conviction for assault is realistic.

I see... Yep... it's almost as bad have having the pistol and shotgun formations in college, pros, high school and even in Pop Warner football...

Get a grip... we know the pressure from the anti-Second Amendment camp is infiltrating every thing we hear see and do...

But it is his decision to make.

I also think putting a target in the cross-hairs for a T-shirt was a dumb idea to begin with..

This is a very mature decision by him. I respect it.

violence? exposing yourself and making an indecent proposal is now violence?

Note that two grand juries refused to bring any sort of criminal charge:

The Houston Police Department began an investigation after a complainant filed a report against Watson. In March, a grand jury in Harris County declined to bring charges against him on any of nine criminal complaints.

“We respect the grand jury’s decision,” said Johna Stallings, division chief of the adult sex crimes and human trafficking unit at the Harris County district attorney’s office. “We will conclude the criminal proceedings in Harris County.”

Two weeks later, another grand jury, this time in Brazoria County, Texas, declined to indict Watson on charges of sexual misconduct during a massage therapy session. It was the last known criminal case against him.

OK, but more importantly, should I draft him on my fantasy football team?
