Yep, one of my acquaintances sold his business for 9mil and he couldn’t even spend the interest after a few years of buying houses and boats.
Savings accounts are at 5%. With just the 13 mil upfront that is $650,000 a year. Yeah, I would never work another day for 15% of that.
I would continue to do some things that could make money, but nothing that even remotely resembles a 9-5.
There does seem to be a lot of 1%ers out there. I wonder if the arithmetic supports all these claims. And why isn’t anybody claiming to be a 2%er? Are there no 2%ers? Is anybody out there married to a 6 or a 7?
1% isn’t all that impressive considering half this country can barely pay their bills. Millionaire is another word that is not all that impressive anymore. Anybody that owns a house is halfway to being a millionaire already..01%er is way more impressive. Half my friends are one percent and they ain’t shit
Yep. Anybody boasting they’re a 1%er on a message board is full of bullshit in my opinion until they convince me otherwise. Funny - on another message board long long ago I actually got one guy (a Tennessee fan) so wound up he photocopied his W2 and PM’d it to me in an attempt to convince me he made more money than I did. The whole experience was really entertaining
Entirely typical in my experience. Seen guys get back into contracting, literally risking that entire fat nest egg. Mostly because they didnt know/could't learn any other way to live.
AD, Napier, and the entire defensive staff need to be fired tonight. Let's get moving by not having to watch this abysmally coached team anymore.
If Kiffin comes here, guarantee a lot of the star players stick around. Throw in some transfers for the trenches, and it’s a quick turnaround. Lagway would love Kiffin’s play calling.
