Can you just tell me? Don’t need to read a whole article about how bad we are.

The bar is now at least 6 wins given our schedule is easier than expected. Its still tough but TAMU and LSU lost out of conference and FSU is cheeks

Kirby was a project. Day was a project. Dabo was a project. Deboer was a project. Not sure who y’all think we are entitled to, but Billy was that dude. He just didn’t work out.

I would like to see Billy Napier stay until the end of his contract--under the condition that UF:
    1) Makes it clear that he can no longer coach plays, and that he is solely there as the face of the program, to recruit, and to instill good character in the players.
    2) Hires Dan Mullen as OC and Will Muschamp as DC. Pay them whatever it takes. Do it now.

No need to throw away the 20+ million on a payout. Take advantage of what BN is good at, and spend the money that would be spent on a new head coach toward coordinators. This would give me something to be excited about this year.

Not sure if I'm being pessimistic or realistic, but I grieved 8+ losses at once on Saturday in anticipation of what is to come this season. It hit a lot harder than a single loss ever has.

Nah, he definitely made a dig at us fans who “ know” he is in over his head. Maybe Shayne Mathews was in a basement and he is clueless also as he’s clearly never played on Napiers level nor been coached by anyone with the acumen of the teachers tgat Napier had. Napier is the genius here and we all need to sit back and learn from the master.

Looking for a soft landing in this situation makes perfect sense except for two glaring realities:
    - An HC who has to be forced into making badly needed changes by the administration in the midst of his 3rd season, is no P4 HC at all - in either fact or theory.
    - The same HC who literally built the current mess from the ground up is unlikely to be the best possible choice for undoing the damage and moving on to something better.

We've all seen this every 2 1/2 years. When you reach these points of ultimatums with coaches, it's done. You don't come back from it.

And why would two elite coordinators work under him. They have options.

Spurrier sees tons more than we do but even he should and does bite his tongue. He can only spew fantasy so long though before he looks bad. It’s obvious to the world now. Even we idiots in our basements understand.

Today's message from Napier is the Gators must block out the critics. No buddy. You must block out the critics. The fans aren't hating on the players. Nice deflection
