I don't know that any coach has ever needed a game as bad as Billy needed that one. A loss would have hurt but a blowout just crushes. 8 months of anticipation just snuffed out in a half--yes, the game was over at halftime. It was that bad.

Even worse? We don't even have an administration that I would trust to hire the next guy.

 

They could publicly beg him to go away at a lesser price for failing at his job. I’m sure he is embarrassed. He had to be.

I think the ship has sailed on Kiffin. Ole Miss actually has a decently rich booster base that's more than happy to pay not to suck, and he's probably not moving. He's already getting paid a hefty sum as well It's a shame because I think his offenses would have been a ton of fun to watch here.

That said, while I agree that class has to matter, fans need to consider that people grow up and change. Kiffin seems to have done that.
