I dont know why any of them, including Nikki, are campaigning. Trump has this locked up. He could shoot Mike Pence on 5th avenue or inspire a crowd to hang Mike Pence and he’d be elected.

Not sure that will be a difference. The big money supported Ron DeSantis and it didn't make that much of a difference and in the 2016 primaries they supported candidates other than Trump. In fact, at this time in the 2016 cycle Jeb Bush was leading the pack in fundraising.

The reason that money is less important in Republican primaries with Trump as a candidate is that his supporters worship him like a leader of the cult and are so convinced that he is the chosen one that they are unlikely to influenced by television commercials for other candidates. Paraphrasing Trump himself, he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and he wouldn't lose any support. Trump's candidacy is so counter-intuitive by any normal standard that with every indictment or other legal problem that would kill any other candidate his support increases. Even an extremely negative campaign well-funded by megadonors wouldn't hurt Trump.

 

No one is winning with the Crypt Keeper in the WH. He shits his drawers twice a day and blames it on MAGA.

 

When I hear the phrase "shits his drawers" with reference to a presidential candidate this comes to mind.
