Please let this happen. Knows nothing about college ball, grumpy arrogant personality, only won because of a legendary quarterback.

Succeeding them, maybe. So far as I can tell, he hasn’t replaced anyone.

Under those circumstances, it would make a lot of sense to retire.

She spoke to USA TODAY Sports while standing with a small group of people near the large tent where Nick Saban conducted his postgame interview. He did not address his plans for next season.

When USA TODAY Sports asked Terry Saban if her husband would continue coaching, a young woman interjected.

“We’re not answering questions like that right now,’’ she said.

Asked if her husband was doing OK after the loss, Terry said, “Fifty-two years of doing it, we’ve experienced it before, right? And you try to find the silver lining to teach other players for the next time."

I do not think that Muschamp is going anywhere until his son graduates from UGA. I do not remember what the rest of his family looks like and I am too lazy to look it up.

He needs to announce now so players have a chance to transfer out. It would suck if he waits and players can enroll somewhere else.

Will Musketeer was always known for his 3-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust offense. Bama's running backs are not used to falling down after only three yards, and the O-linemen are not finished tackling defenders by that point in the play.

Any AD that gives Muschamp yet another shot at running a program into the ground should be fired...into space on a rocket.

Our defense looked haggard last year (or several years), and none of those guys are talking about retiring. In comparison, Saban looks "mellowed with age".

As long as it’s not our AD, I’m all for someone giving him a lifetime contract.

Saban, the narcissist he is, will not retire until he wins another National Championship. Likely, he won't retire until he wins another title. imo

Very true, but someone will take him as their DC which I think he might be even better hanging with Smart for a few seasons.
