Anyone watch that? Nasty leg injury… praying for that guy, because sadly his career might be done. Reminded me of Marcus Lattimore’s injury.

That was really sad to see happen to Chubb again... especially if it is career ending. I hope he recovers, but man that did not look good.

It looked awful, but guys do come back. It’s really amazing nowadays. Hell, Chubb himself already came back from a similarly gruesome injury.

I guess have to hope it’s “only” the obvious ligament tears and he didn’t do any damage to blood vessels or nerves that can happen with a knee dislocation. Obviously that it’s the same knee as before is highly concerning as well, especially considering it’s probably multiple ligaments again if not all of them.

The reason why no one wants to pay RBs. They take more punishment than other positions. Hard to give them big long term contracts. Drop off in production happens earlier than other positions as well

I saw it and I pray for his recovery. But... it's unlikely that he ever returns to his old self. By the way that second dude that came in on his legs while he was being tackled is a POS. He knew that player was in the process of getting tackled and he went for that knee on purpose.

You’d think that would make them more in demand if we go through them like we do.

They aren’t as important in the game with the way the rules are anymore, but they still have that short shelflife. It’s hard to tie up that much cat money for a player that more than likely does not produce in the second half of the contract. A running back best value is most times in his first contract. A very rarely produce on the second half of the second contract.

Just hope he can at least rehab & recover to have normal everyday walking around movement in that knee.

Saw him getting carted off....watched the replay up to the point of his cleat getting stuck in the grass. Saw his injury & Lattimore's injury "live in game". Wishing a speedy recovery

Geez, that's horrendous. Wish him well, but the chances of him being the same again is close to nil.

I'm amazed at how well he came back from his previous injury. And was still an absolute beast in the gym. Wishing him the best.

I broke my knee earlier this summer. Was NOTHING like that. I was non load bearing for 6 weeks, and even with persistent pt, I still have a good 4-6 months before remotely feeling normal. The injury is healed, but the muscle strength evaporated. I went to the swamp this weekend, and just walking up and down the steps to get to row 12, and stepping up on the bleachers was murder. I had to crawl up onto the bleachers to let people pass in the row. And Sunday was a miserable recovery.
God speed to Chubb, my heart goes out to him right now, cuz this sucks.

Chubb is amazing and I suspect with modern medicine and his ridiculous work ethic, he’ll be back. Good dude. I hate Georgia, as a program, but I love some of their players in the NFL.

Remember, he similarly destroyed a knee 8 years ago v Tennessee. Is this the same knee? Either way, what a mental issue to overcome

Seems like #2 would be career ending.

That was a horrific injury. I hope he makes a speedy and complete (as possible) recovery.

Hang in there man...sounds like the injury I had in 2020. It took a year of twice a week PT, and I don't think I ever got the full muscle strength or range of motion back, but I did get back to where I could walk up the stadium bleachers about 3 times before giving out.
