    Bad news for Gaetz…

    A continuance suggests meaningful cooperation.

Add in his pontificating, and it's a life sentence.

How ironic that a Trumper should whip out "commie".

I'd like to see General Milley have just 30 seconds with Gaetz in a dark alley.

Gaetz apparently lawyering up big time, curiously enough with sex crimes specialist Isabelle Kirschner (Robert Hadden) and Marc Mulkasey. The Gaetz campaign has hired Marc Fernich (El Chapo, Jeffrey Epstein and Keith Raniere.)

    Fun times coming.

So? Why is that applicable to someone calling them out on a bs comment?
Not trying to be argumentative with you. I just don’t understand.

Anyone in that situation, even if innocent, should lawyer up. But the delay in sentencing means his buddy is spilling it all. Bad news.

You’ve clearly never represented a cooperating defendant.

I’ll make my response less direct here. There’s a lot involved in cooperation. Lawyers need to be sure before the bell is rung that the government’s side of the deal is clear. Then the client offers evidence. The government asks questions. The government doesn’t take the flipper’s word for it, rather they go an investigate because they need to know what they are hearing is the truth. The government comes back to your guy with their mini investigation and confronts with any seemingly inconsistent statements. The government asks follow ups. The government investigates those answers. All that time the lawyers foe the flipper need to make sure the ts are crossed in each meeting. Process repeats until it gets to the point where the government is satisfied with the information and that it is truthful via its own investigation.

    Substantive, material cooperation takes time.

Of course, he should have done so immediately and then shut his mouth. The timing of this is the significant thing....he knows something....not fun...is about to happen.

You've apparently have never represented a cooperating defendant, either. When dealing with a potential high profile defendant such as Gaetz, Greenberg has been interviewed multiple times and his physical evidence meticulously examined by multiple sets of highly trained eyes. At the first suggestion Greenberg is lying, a lot of prosecutors' and case agents' files will suddenly close and people, very important people to his future, will walk out of the room.

That's like asking who do you hate worse, Satan or one of his demons?
