Dang……….hard to believe.

 

UNCW controlled much of the game, they were up 14 in the first half. They were the better team today.

 

Hope someone from our support staff has the tape and we can steal a couple of things from it.

 

I thought that Brett Blizzard was out of eligibility.

They were the better team start to finish. Of course our coach could not push the right buttons. Oh well….

 

No coach has ever done so little with so much talent.

 

The UNC Wilmington coach became the third person to beat UK at Rupp Arena as a player and coach. The other two, Mark Gottfried and Mike White.

Just because thease teams are not in traditional network (ESPN, Fox, etc) conference there is no reason to dismiss their talent, coaching and level of play. All you need is 6 or 7 good players and a competent coach. Dismiss or belittle them as only mid-major and watch the L-column of your favorite network team grow. It's good for hoops.

 

True, although some folks here have been rather nasty after loses to such teams. I feel confident, however, that more than a few Cat fans have the knife sharpener out of the kitchen drawer.

 

Like last year losing at home to FAU by two? The very same Final Four team that lost by one in the semis?

 

Um, no one has made so much money from a bunch of faithful fans and delivered so little.
