New California Bill Pushes College Sports Revenue Sharing

    We have sports in public hs and the football team doesn’t do car washes so the swim team can go to state. My sister basically had to help fund her way to state.

    Then it should also have nothing to do with the university.

    That's my thought at first glance as well.

    College football desperately needs a little more parity competitively, and this might help manufacture that despite the issues it likely will bring.

    I agree, it diminishes the entertainment product and "the spirit" of college football. Fairness is another issue, but I don't want to delve too deeply into that because this might get moved to Too Hot.:D

    But honestly, regardless of anyone's opinion, I think lawyers and agents becoming a huge part of negotiations on behalf of players at this point is an inevitability if it hasn't already happened.
