Kelly has really quickly and quietly put her stamp on the program this offseason. Quite an interesting hire. Not entirely sure what to make of it, but she's basically been a player or staff member for Staley for more than half her life. Should definitely bring a thorough perspective of how things are being done at the top of the SEC. The staff has also gotten a bit younger with these offseason changes, potentially seems to be a very strong recruiting group, we will have to see if player development or in-game coaching suffers at all with the loss of veterans like Plank and ELM.
Wonder if there is any chance she could help us get a shot with Saniya Rivers? Talk about a nasty backcourt if she could help us land her...
Staley never made her an assistant coach on the floor, but clearly relied on her for scouting, tape, evaluation, visits, schedule coordination, …. Glad our coach is picking her own staff.
