I didn't know whether to give you a funny for the last line or informative.

But they all described whistling sounds as being telltale evidence that it was the distinctive sound of a "JDAM bomb", which we both noted doesn't make a lot of sense unless GPS guidance somehow gives off a whistling sound. None of them described clicks. Not sure I could find it again but they put out tweets with audio files of prior Israeli bombings to compare. I didn't listen, and would not unless I saw some reason to look at that closely.

As I said before, even if it was some evidence that it was not a missile, the overwhelming weight of the evidence is that it was not an Israeli bomb. It's rare that the evidence is 100% one way. But in this case, the overwhelming weight of the evidence goes one way and that's good enough for me right now.

Who does that headline blame? Tell me. It says a hospital was bombed, which is an indisputably true statement. Click on the article and the first line says there is a disagreement who's bomb it was, which is another factual statement. You would know if it were not for your 6 word limitations.

What's the correct number, then? I still see 300-500 reported in the mainstream media. Regardless, posting mainstream media reports about the number of dead Palastine is claiming doesn't make anything a "false claim", does it, as long as the article correctly attributes the estimates to the source? You are always welcome to ... as bigcyress noted ... consider the source and not believe it...

 

I remember one Marine friend saying during the Gulf War that he was tripping on acid and experiencing all the rockets/missiles/bombs or whatever they were coming down around them. I don't think he was kidding. I wondered where they got the acid if it was a true story but in any event, I suppose Marines just don't have normal responses to things that would make most others run or be paralyzed with fear.

Yeah, there's a dichotomy there though. The two Marines I've talked to about combat both have stories like that which they almost seem fond of remembering. But I should also point out that they have both suffered from PTSD (although I think that's not so much about the dangers they personally faced but guilt over the people they didn't save). I can't imagine any of it.
