Exactly, I see reports everyday of "Putin says ... " or "Iran says ..." or "North Korea says ... " ... even "Trump says ... " ... what leaders say is newsworthy, even if you are 90% sure it's a lie from the start.

You claimed American media was saying "Israel did it" ... then provided headlines that say "Palastine says Israel did it".... that's the part you made up.

Look at the headline. "Israeli Strike kills hundreds in hospital". The part I posted is what everyone reads. Look at what the posters on here did with that info. They were fooled. It sounds like an air delivered bomb then, but it doesn't really matter, does it? Many more civilians will die before this is over, and many more will die in the years to come. This is just a singular spectacularly violent incident that's captured the world's attention. Not so different from the mass shootings here compared to overall gun related deaths in that regard.

Hey, I'm not the one who brought up sound as some sort of evidence. Just pointing out that if you go by sound it sounds more like a bomb than a rocket. Sounds depends on the speed, size, shape, and trajectory of the projectile, and I'm sure some combination of either can sound rather similar. I've seen cruise missiles landing making a similar sound, for example. It's not a reliable indicator, but saying that probably isn't as effective as showing some counter-examples.

 

Scrolling back, your first response to hospital bombing post was .... "Need to consider the source here (Hamas). But if Israel did this I hope they have a good reason."

A lot of people I have mentioned the sound. Some have purported to post audio of prior Israeli bombs for comparison purposes. This is way outside of my expertise. This may be another anomaly, in addition to the fireball. But it still seems to me that the overall weight of the evidence significantly suggest that it is not an Israeli bomb. Obviously I'm open to further evidence.

Pretty sure I've read everything that's been postulated out there.

What sound did they describe? A guided bomb sounds pretty distinct, and it isn’t that whistling sound like the movies, though rockets, artillery, and mortars sound like that coming in, though only for an instant.

 

I did not even listen. I don't know what they were referring to. Not sure I could find the tweet again. It was just described as very similar to prior Israeli bombs

 

Swing and a miss. That headline doesn't even assign blame. How is posting an article on a breaking story a false claim? Are you saying that Local Authorities didn't say that? Was a Gaza hospital not bombed? Were the estimates of the dead not initially 300? Where is the false part, again?

 

If you’re close to the path of a guided bomb, you hear progressively louder “clicking” from the fins as the bomb is trying to correct itself onto its target. When I was a forward air controller, on of my challenges was to get the Marines to keep shooting at the target while the drop was in progress so the enemy wouldn’t hear its approach and distance. If you don’t tell Marines to keep shooting, by God every single one of them will break out their camcorders or cellphones …
