You have conspicuously ignored every post reflecting the Hamas infrastructure in Gaza. The one central theme of your posting is the condemnation of Israel and Jews regardless of truth.

My posts are directed at Israel, which doesn't represent Judaism or Jews, though certain Zionists would like it that way. Its just a damn country run by theocratic right-wing nationalists who happen to be Jews, one which my own country seems to have a murder-suicide pact with of sorts. Making Israel synonymous with Jews would be a major victory for the anti-Semites we both despise. You dont want a country to stand in for the actions of a religion or group of people, because collective punishment isnt just something Israelis dish out, other people do it to. You are over here worried about me and some college students protesting war, meanwhile the worlds richest man is over on his website straight up agreeing with people who are like "Jews promote hatred against whites" and other vile Nazi horseshit. I know you wont agree with me ever, but I hope at least you can see I'm coming from a place of conscience.

Not sure what to make of this. Make of it what you will. Maybe it exposes anti-Israel propaganda, maybe it exposes changing standards of what is acceptable in war. Your mileage may vary.

In chronology. So I see this tweet, dated today. I admit it upset me, so I tried to verify:

I searched Twitter for Great Mosque of Gaza. This is the first one I see, stating that the Great Mosque was destroyed 27 days ago by Israeli bombing. If so, not sure what was bombed today

But there's more. Learning more and more Gazan history of late, to my chagrin. Much rich history there, long predating the current conflict, making all this that much more tragic. So much rich heritage having nothing to do with Hamas.

One thing I did not know is that it was the site of a WWI battle, Brits against the Ottomans. And....

I never tweet but I obviously still get a lot of content from Twitter although it's not nearly what it used to be. And it's just horrific if you do a search, as I do if I'm trying to find out more about something I see in one tweet, even if to verify it. All of the most horrendous stuff is elevated to the top of the search or the top comments. It's just horrific. I had to stop right after the horrors of October 7th because you would see pictures that you can't unsee.

He may have done some really interesting things in the business world that have helped humanity but he's a horrible human being

ZAKA TEL AVIV sent me an email retracting where the hostage's body was found.

The text of the email reads:

"I want to address a few points from our email earlier today, where a miscommunication led to some confusion.

Firstly, the wording we used in our email earlier today may have implied that Zaka Tel-Aviv operates directly in Gaza. This is not accurate, we only operate within Israel.

Secondly, some of the details about the recovery of Yehudit Weiss's body earlier today came from an unverified source. What we know is that her body was retrieved from an area near Al-Shifa Hospital by the IDF.

Please accept our sincere apologies, our team works really hard and with all new information being reported, it is sometimes difficult to avoid any miscommunication.

Thank you for your understanding and support. We are committed to ensuring accuracy in our future updates and hope for better days and a peaceful future.

    Yoni Gilboa
    Director of Zaka Tel-Aviv"

the operation at and near Al Shifa continues:

Netanyahu: Stong indications hotsages were held at al-Shifa Hospital

"We had strong indications that they were held in the Shifa Hospital, which is one of the reasons we entered the hospital," Netanyahu told CBS News anchor Norah O'Donnell this evening (Thursday).

The IDF discovered a laptop with photographs of hostages at al-Shifa Hospital. In addition, the body of Yehudit Weiss, a hostage who was murdered by Hamas, was found near the hospital.

The IDF found direct evidence that hostages were held at Rantisi Children's Hospital, including window curtains placed over walls with no windows, a bottle for a captured baby, and material used to bind hostages and hold them in place.

Terror tunnel entrance uncovered at al-Shifah Hospital

IDF troops belonging to the Shaldag Unit, the 7th Brigade, and additional special units continue at this hour to conduct targeted activity in the al-Shifa Hospital. Today, Hamas's tunneling infrastructure was exposed inside the hospital. Furthermore, a booby-trapped vehicle that was prepared for the October 7th massacre was discovered, containing a large amount of weapons and ammunition.

In parallel, as part of the ongoing ground activity and searches in the Rantisi Hospital, troops of the Yahalom Unit and 401st Brigade continued to unearth an operational tunnel.

The army said it was also investigating laptops and other technological devices that were found in the medical center.

The IDF said Thursday that its latest scans of the hospital led to the uncovering of “new findings… indicating significant underground infrastructure in the hospitals and our forces are working to uncover them.”

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-s...nd-sites-where-senior-commanders-were-hiding/

The IDF announced Thursday that it targeted a number of Hamas’s top political and military leaders in a pair of recent airstrikes against the terror group’s underground infrastructure in Gaza.

One strike targeted a tunnel where several senior Hamas military commanders were hiding, including Ahmed Ghandour and Ayman Siam, Hagari said.

The other strike targeted a tunnel where senior members of Hamas’s politburo were hiding, including Rawhi Mushtaha, Essam al-Dalis and Sameh al-Siraj, the IDF spokesperson added.

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-s...vered-under-young-girls-bed-in-northern-gaza/

Troops from the Israeli Defense Force’s 551st Reserve Brigade said that they discovered Hamas rockets stored inside the bed of a young girl in a home in the Beit Hanoun city in northern Gaza.

In video footage released on Thursday, the military showed rockets that it said had been kept in a storage unit underneath the bed in a bedroom with a “baby girl” sign on the wall.

Nearby, the IDF also showed a number of weapons it said it uncovered in the home, including missiles, explosive devices and explosive materials. The IDF said it destroyed the weaponry.

None of this is relevant. Hamas is a terrorist organization whose charter is the killing of all Jews everywhere and no peace with Israel. It espouses the very same concepts you supposedly purport to attack (which are document as untrue in the modern history of Israel dating back to 2948). Except Hamas wants to kill all Jews and drive all Jews out of Israel, including from the 1948 borders. In fact, their attacks in October 7 were largely in civilian targets within the 1948 borders. And, Israel has a unified government now. It’s prosecution of the war Hamas started is not the policies of a right wing government. In stating you oppose the government of Israel in this thread, all you are doing is endorsing Hamas tactics as a means for destroying Israel. And your opinions are worthless insofar as you repeatedly ignore posts identifying the use of civilian infrastructure for Hamas operations. What you endorse is that Israel be attacked and not respond because Hamas operates on civilian areas because it’s warfare requires the death of civilians and purported international outrage— outrage also shown in this thread that was non- existent in Mosul and throughout the recent wars in the Middle East. And you willingly accept Hamas reports of injuries and deaths and that those killed were “civilians.” You can claim to not support Hamas, but in every post, you parrot their aims. And all of this is without getting into the history of Israel starting in 1948.

Hamas' tactics are the same as Israel's (and Hamas could only dream of arming settlers to drive Israelis off their land or having an air force), they are mirror images in this conflict. Israel's tactics will destroy Israel (if it hasnt already, look at it - its backsliding democratically, and elevated far-right nationalist religious thugs to power, ones that resemble the people running the most despotic Arab countries), and do nothing to eradicate anti-Semitism or make Jewish people safer in Israel or around the world. The problem here is you think this war is good for Israel, it isnt.

While the criticism of Israel's tactics against Hamas in Gaza is perfectly legitimate suggesting that the tactics of Israel is the equivalence of the tactics of Hamas on October 7 is analogous to suggesting that the German massacre of Ukrainian Jews at Babi Yar (in case you are unaware of the event, unarmed Jewish civilians were lined up and gunned down by the Nazis with their bodies buried in a ravine) with the Allied bombing of Germans. In other words there is absolutely no comparison.
