Exhibit A for why I'm skeptical of anything coming out of either side:

Israel has killed a surprising number of UN aid workers. Their justification now for that is that the aid workers are members of Hamas. I don't think there's a better example to prove the point I was making earlier (that when anybody can be Hamas, you're always justified in your killing).
UN mourns record death toll in war with over 100 employees killed in Gaza

You didn’t watch the whole thing. Class turned into a political rally for the Middle East.

My personal concerns are being realized.

The Gaza situation was a lake of gasoline waiting for a match.

There is no political, ideological or religious innocence here.

Sure, what HAMAS did was an absolute abomination and deserves severe punishment.

Netanyahu and the right wing religious zealots just kept pushing the tolerance envelope of Palestinians to the point that something heinous like this was inevitable to happen. Gaza became comparable to a damn American Indian Reservation of the
    1890s.

And of course Israel is going to blow every damn building down to the foundations irregardless of whom are in them. HAMAS knew this of course, all part of the plan to garner international and Arab state sympathy, so what if tens of thousands of innocent women and children die for their BS Islamic martyrdom. Women are worthless in that culture anyway outside of grunting out more male jihadists.

There will be and is plenty of blood. How much is required to sate the Israeli notion of justifiable revenge?

This is what cultural and religous intolerance leads to. A damn bloodbath.

    Sickening by both sides.

I think Netanyahu has a lot to be accountable for but in my mind this totally about Hamas. I don’t think there was anything Israel could have done to placate Hamas, and most of the suffering in Gaza is because of Hamas.

To be fair, they said that many of them are hamas members. Would you really be surprised if the aid agencies had to hire help from the local chapter of hamas?

Why would he care? The student said his piece, some folks chanted, and they left. This lasted all of a minute. The other students ignored it, and the professor went back to teaching.

If MIT decides to punish the people who disrupted the class, so be it. Actions have consequences. Are we supposed to be worked up over it?

The implication is that the UN is now in bed with Hamas so it's cool to kill UN aid workers and claim that the UN is spreading propaganda. Does that sound to you like a claim a thriving American-style democracy makes? It sounds to me like the sort of shit you'd hear from Russia, Iran, North Korea, etc.

Because there is no point in trying to appeal to a bunch of psychopath terrorists. Whether it’s fair or not, Israel is reasonable and Hamas is not.
