Oh I stand corrected. “Too many” followed by three sentences explaining why Israel is not at fault for killing any of them. And “who doesn’t care about Palenstinian civilians?”

Im not sure how I couldn’t tell you weren’t brimming with compassion.

Get into the tunnel system and use robotic weapons with gas weapons to clear the tunnels before planting explosives and collapsing them. Just a thought

Reading comprehension requires that you read all the words; not ignore the words that are at odds with your perception.

    Thanks for answering.

Yes I agree that Hamas needs to be excised from Gaza. And Israel should do it exactly as they have been. If that means a bunch of civilians die that is HORRIBLE but it is what it is. Just own it. No need to attack posters who don’t like it - making accusations of anti-semitism. No need to post videos of Hamas “faking” deaths. It just makes it seem like you’re in denial about what is happening there. Yes they lie and exaggerate - they are animals. But what is happening in Gaza is still heartbreaking. Thousands of innocent children have died.

How. How do the place troops where the entry to the tunnel systems are?

How many Israeli deaths going street to street, building by building, to accomplish taking out the tunnels this way?

How many civilian deaths going street to street, building by building, to accomplish taking out the tunnels this way?

I’ll answe. I absolutely do care about this entire move t Palestinians. I hate the situation they find themselves in. But I also recognize the need for Israel to protect its peopl, it boarders, its nation. And Israel was attacked from Palestine in a cowardly, horrorific, terrorist act. How do shift the innocent Palestinians from those that supported Hamas, from those that hid Hamas, those that cheered as Hamas murdered, raped and kidnapped innocent civilians? I don’t have an answer.
You asked him to give you a break. Then imply he doesn’t care about innocent lives in Gaza all while knowing Jews are being targeted by Palestinians the world around, that ethnic cleaning is the stated desired outcome of several
Muslim groups. Maybe you should be giving him a break and Ty to understand how visceral, how close to home, how frightening this is.

I didn’t imply shit. I asked him a direct question and he gave me a smart ass response about not being able to read and not understanding what a rhetorical question is.

Maybe target your disgust toward the left leaning posters who have championed from the river to the sea, who have exclaimed multiple times that Israel is participating in ethnic cleansing. That the Jews have fantasies of genocide against Palestinians. That the side committing war crimes is Israel.

I’m targeting my disgust at posters who suggest I’m an anti-Semite because I think it’s sad thousands of innocent children are being killed.

LOL. You tried to say everyone protesting Israel was because of the retaliation from Israel yet all the chants they were doing were for the killing of Jewish people and singing from the river to the sea. You are trying to cover for the Muslims who are cheering the massacre in Israel. What a shit look that is for you.

As i understand it the tunnels are a well connected network. Would you need that many points of entry to launch drone robots either flying or crawling into them? If the idf has gaza city surrounded as they claim it would seem that they control enough real estate to find some entry points. Drive them out of the tunnels and then filter the civilians thru a checkpoint into a refugee camp along the Gaza border under the control of an international group like the red cross or comparable. Then go after whoever is left. Slaughtering everyone isn't going to do anything other than increase the threat in the long term

To me, none of that is the real "scenario" that matters.

Not disrespecting your post duggers, because this is what the press is all talking about, and everything in that tweet is a pretty solid bet (except perhaps the ultimate relevance of Hamas, which I would call 50/50).

The replacement for Netanyahu is the real wildcard here.

The Knesset has a solid 64 MP's (out of 120) who are hardliners. And if they hold provisional elections, that majority is bound to increase given current Israeli sentiment.

Netanyahu is a dove compared to the other 63! He wasn't even a hardliner 30 years ago, he was a centrist who opportunistically went to the right as public opinion shifted.

Once Netanyahu is ousted, as we presume he will be, his replacement is going to make even Ariel Sharon look like a dove.

Who will it be? If I had to wager, I would put money on Smotrich. Goldknopf is also quite possible. You can google these guys if you want to see what we are in for.

My point is, everyone salivating over Netanyahu's political demise because he is perceived some kind of right wing hardliner has a rude awakening in store.

Take my prediction for what it is worth, because I predicted early in this thread that Netanyahu would get cold feet before launching a ground invasion of Gaza at all. I still think he would have, except his coalition and the IDF got publicly impatient with him.

Except that a great many right wingers hate Jews, but more as people as a whole based on ridiculous stereotypes rather than being upset with certain Israeli policy and military decisions. They just happen to hate Muslims more. So right now they see an opportunity to drive a wedge between Israel and the party that has supported her since her inception. And some are getting sucked in by that ploy.

Its painfully obvious that's what's going on here. Up until October 7, the right wingers were responsible for far more of the incidents tracked by the ADL than the left, perhaps they still are, just not as visibly with the media attention. Let's not forget the party of choice for American Nazis and White Supremacists. And we have a some wolves here dressed in sheep's clothing....wearing red baseball caps.

If you go through the other thread, you will see that the right wing anti-Semite’s were thrilled with 10-7. When someone hates you, you don’t ask if they are a liberal or conservative or a democrat or Republican.

I said suggested. But primarily 95 during our exchange about the protests (or 'celebrations' as he put it) not starting in the US before Israel had begun retaliating. I point that out clearly showing what he's claiming incorrect and he starts suggesting I support the terrorists. And you were cheering him on giving him likes and giving me disagrees despite everything I was saying being supported by facts/links that I provided.

I have left out the personal stories. Like my friends wife who wakes up crying because her granddaughter is an army medic. My friend who had a friends son identified only because they found his teeth. And more. I know people serving. Client with relatives serving. The Jewish world is very small. And what I posted is how people who don’t hate Jews are used by those who do because anti-semitism takes the form of some popular philosophy. For example, the “occupation” and “two state solution.” For those who do use term, “occupation” or 75 years of occupation, they are talking about all of Israel. Not the areas defined as settlements And “from the river to the sea” doesn’t advocate for a two state solution. It’s about driving Jews out of Israel. Yet Israel is blamed for “settlements.” Nobody had had anything to say about the history I have laid out repeatedly concerning efforts by Israel toward a two state solution. And the accusation of colonialism is another one. Just a buzzword for removing Jews from Israel. Treating Jews like they were pre-WW2 European colonizers. That is a pure libel applied to Israel. Wrapped in an academic package to make it sound pretty. Just like Germans believed in Germany that Jews sabotaged Germany in WW1. That was the idea that led to the Holocaust. Or that Jews where guilty of deicide. The Catholic Church claimed that until 1960. That made 2000 years of pogroms palatable. What is so sickening about the idea of Colonialism is that Europeans have slaughtered millions of Jews— and not just in the Holocaust. And Jews have been kicked out of countries throughout the Middle East. Here is a question to be answers: Whose country did Israel occupy? What was there before Israel was created in 1948? Ben went through the last 2000 years. There hasn’t been a nation in Israel since the Roman conquest. When was there a Palestine to be occupied?

Stop with the Soros stuff please. I don’t now if that tweet is true or not. But donations to these groups before 10-7 do not mean he is supporting their actions now.

I gave him agrees because he is right that the protests were motivated by support for what Hamas did, not because Israel was responding. And you kept debating him on the timing, looking for earlier and earlier articles in the response. So I gave you disagrees. It was a senseless argument.
