The fact that Bibi isn't getting a MUCH more scrutinizing look in the international press right now is astounding. As you put it, for "whatever reason"...

So they have something to point to when they kill a bunch of civilians. This stuff is meant to appease westerners, it has no strategic value. You are the audience here.

yeah that’s kinda the feeling I was getting. Feels like PR in advance of a missile strike on that hospital. They even have the 3D renderings of the underground base included - again I’m assuming for our benefit. Just kinda weird.

Or, maybe to disclose the murderous barbarians, who set their base of operations below a hospital, for what they are.

This is well known. Hamas denied it. What would Israel gain from hitting a hospital without justification? If they strike this hospital, there will be outrage.

So, why would Hamas put am operations base under a hospital? Has anyone seen any evidence Hamas or the Anti-Semites you see parading throughout the world cared about anyone in Gaza, other than to wave dead bodies around and cream war crimes?

No. Hamas knows that Israel knows this.

Internet and cell communications down in Gaza. Watched today while Katy Tur in MSNBC complained that this prevents getting out information about what is happening in Gaza to the outside. And King of Jordan says it is to hide Israeli atrocities. Of course, this also prevents communication about troop movements and terrorist command and control. And of course, we hear about “what will this do to the hostages?” Hams has released 4 out of 222. And they took hostages and released a few precisely so this question would ne asked. And they hide behind people so Israel will be accused of war crimes. The next phase of Israel implementing this current chapter of “Never Again” has begun. The reaction of the Jew hating world will be predictable. If Mexico did this and his it’s soldiers in Juarez naming the civilian population, would the US agree to a cease fire as demanded of Israel? What would the US do? Or any country.

Despite the gravity of the situation, let me suggest a different angle to this dispute - entertainment backlash.

Marvels is releasing November 10. It features Kamala Khan a Muslim teenage superhero. We found the Disney Plus miniseries charming, especially because it featured a Muslim family as just another family with quirks, foibles and loving parents. Wonder if there will be backlash, although Marvel feels tired and my daughter tells me that industry insiders that have seen it say it doesn't work. So low box office may not be tied to Islamophobia. Who knows

Then the lovely Gal Gadot is a Snow White remake in March. Though her choice of scripts of late has seemed wanting, she is still a bit of an A-lister. But she gets some flak as a former IDF soldier Israeli (she did her services) and apparently deleted a tweet supporting Israel. Never saw it; not sure what it said. Again, most of her recent projects have not done well. Very low rated last film on Netflix. And Princess remakes have not done well. So again it be hard to dis-aggregate any box office disappointment into anti-Semitism or hatred of Israel

    Something to watch.

Well we know what the US would do, start a disastrous war without a clear objective or endgame other than "ending terror." Looks like the Israelis are intent on the same, and alienating much of the world in the process as they decimate and displace a civilian population as an occupying power.

. Words matter. And I really should stop at your statement that Israel started this war. The only way you can make that statement is to be ignorant of what happened October 7 or accepting of what happened October 7. And based on your posting, the latter is obvious. No matter your protestations. Because those attacks started that war. And everyone here read your responses
Eliminating Hamas is an endgame in itself. Because there cannot be a worse government there. No matter who takes over. As for the US, we didn’t start the war in Afghanistan. We were attacked by Al Queda. And the Taliban refused to allow us to deal with them. But we had a nation building objective that failed. Same I Iraq— which was a bad miscalculation.

Good thing he has an intractable war on terror, the possibility of a larger regional conflict and an unlimited bankroll from the US to pursue it then.
