Seems that you want me to justify or protest the rationale for the “prison.” I don’t have a dog in that fight. I was merely responding to another poster who asked if people were free to come and go.

I did mention that desperation leads to extreme choices. Not many people with good life options join terrorist groups. Or gangs. I don’t think that’s very controversial.

Would you agree context and nuance matter? Your post, while detailed and explanatory, leaves out a major part of the equation. WHY, yes, why are these extreme measures in place? Start there. I bet you get a totally different reaction.

This was my point. Of course, Israel should defend itself. But what are they going to do about the root of the problem? The root of the problem will simply bare new leaves in the spring. It’s the Iranian administration and Hamas financiers tucked away on a Turkish beach playing frisbee golf. An invasion of Gaza seems a lot like a band-aid and a “show” of force which won’t really eliminate the problem. The problem is US policy towards Iran have allowed them to bank up a ton of capital. And no I’m not referring to the $6 billion. I’m referring to the restoration of their oil revenue. Simply put: a stronger Iran means there will always be a Hamas like terror group nearby trying to hit Israel whenever it can.

A ton of capital? Link? They are dealing with massive inflation. Printing money. US Sanctions have crippled their economy. As someone who stays up on middle east news, I find your post trying to foster a false narrative. Maybe do some research instead of these "feelings" backed conclusions.

Direct capital isn't the only way to support Iran.

Iran's oil output, exports rise as Washington, Tehran talk

Biden’s $90 Billion Bailout to Tehran

The unfrozen 6 Billion is chump change compared to the windfall your *Jewish Champion* set/empowered Iran up with.

    ....chasing the green phantom...

(IF you take Biden at his word).

This is what happens when the media listens to terrorists. IF the media in the world would have simply reported "blast near Gaza hospital" and had not parroted Hamas then this could've been avoided. So stupid.

Gaza hospital explosion sparks anger and protests in Arab countries | CNN

Anti-Israel protests flared across the Middle East and North Africa on Tuesday as the leaders of Arab countries condemned Israel over a deadly blast believed to have killed hundreds of people sheltering at a hospital in Gaza City.

Palestinian officials quickly blamed Israel for the explosion at the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital but the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) rejected the allegation, accusing Palestinian Islamic Jihad militants of conducting a “failed rocket launch” and saying the lack of structural damage at the facility rules out the possibility of an airstrike.

Islamic Jihad described Israeli accusations as “false and baseless” and claimed that it does not use public facilities such as hospitals for military purposes, according to a written statement published Wednesday.

Israel also opened its gates to allow Palestinians from Gaza to work in Israel. Based on the intelligence found on the dead terrorists about the internal operations of the communities they attacked, it is evident that some of those people reported back to Hamas.

Agreed. And if even if that intelligence came under duress (and much of it probably did), it just goes to show that no good deed goes unpunished. When the pro-Hamas faction drops the term “apartheid state” like it’s an argument-ending zinger, I like to ask, “Why does Israel feel the compelling need to live apart from its Arab population?” and see the litany of non-answers.

Waivers to sanctions that were going *Back* into effect after he pulled us out of the Iran deal (temporary, and the revenues went into a limited secured fund--part of the 6 billion I believe).

^^^btw, anyone else notice how Biden acted like he had a gun to his head, as he ever so reluctantly acknowledged that the bomb that hit the hospital was "...from the other team"?

The NY Post article is am opinion piece masquerading as news. Iran has yet to receive any of the $6 billion, it is Iranian money and the distribution of the funds will be tightly controlled under the agreement.
