The armorer included live ammo. Same thing happened to Brandon Lee in making “the Crow”. Do yo consume any news at all?

    Sorry silly question.

What, exactly, did Baldwin do wrong?

Figure out what the Nebraska man in the OP did and you have about half of what Baldwin did wrong.

    Try again.

Some jackass making a defective homemade blank and thinking it’s a good idea to pull a gun a fire it off at a wedding — vs — actor is handed a prop gun on a movie set that is professional loaded and inspected by purported firearms experts, but unknowingly contains a live bullet….

Did this kid even have his own gun?

Probably not allowed per Nazibraska law.

Hand out loaded guns to everyone who has developed finger pull ability and I guarantee you grandpa will think twice about wilding out at his cheesy little shotgun weddings.

Did the kid wait too long to object to the wedding?

Translation: You don't have a clue and you have less of an understanding as to why all of his criminal charges were dropped.

Brandon Lee's death involved a series of screw.ups. The armorer who prepared the dummy round removed the gunpowder charge, but not the primer. When the gun was fired, the energy from the primer was sufficient to fire the bullet, but with very little force and it became stuck in the barrel. The gun was then loaded with blanks, but no one cleared the gun first or bothered to check it. Someone also should have realized that something was wrong when the dummy round was removed from the gun but its bullet was gone, it should have still been in the casing. When the gun was fired with blanks, the blanks had the full gunpowder charge, but no bullet. The energy from the gunpowder, however, was sufficient to dislodge the stuck bullet and it exited the gun with sufficient energy to kill Lee.

In my estimation, Lee's case was far more susceptible to having criminal charges filed. There were multiple acts of clear negligence on behalf of the The Crow's armorer.
