I saw on the Floridagators article that this is our first time reaching the sweet sixteen since 2017? How is that even possible? Even I didn’t even realize it was that bad.

Lost 3 times in the second round, barely made it in one of those years. And their worst team was the covid year, had been awful before the season was canceled

Looks like weather will be an issue today. Anyone know how many fans are allowed if the match is moved indoors? Is a really small number or is there a reasonable chance to get in and watch the match? Thanks

Unc obliterated the women in doubles
Singles underway now....hopefully uf can put up a decent battle.
Shelton at 6 is down 0-3 in a blink, incredibly disappointing year from her.Thought she would be solid as a 3-4, been a liability at 6

Women lost 4-0, but at least won 1st sets in the 3 unfinished singles matches. Better than I expected honestly.

Men's match delayed. I guess they are trying hard to play outdoors.

Problem is they were not competitive in doubles, and Zein and Shelton were not remotely in their matches
Props to the other 4 who put up good battles

Lose your top 2 players, one elite recruit and one somewhat unknown
Not sure we project to be any better

Blown out 6-2 on court 2, after being up 2-0
    Win 6-4 on court one
Just held serve to even it at 5-5 on court 3

Easy hold to force a tiebreak.....go down 1-2 then run the table for an easy W. Huge comfort zone to get the doubles point. Would take a big meltdown to lose 4 singles points with this team.

Seem to have locked in the lineup....Siimar at 5 (not sure I love that) and Goodger at 6. Bicknell running the table at 5 was key to the team winning it all last year. Not sure Siimar gives them that. But we probably are stronger up top with the development of Shelton.

Shelton absolutely blitzes his guy 0 and 1....he's done while 3 matches are still in the first set

Riffice dug a big hole, got back to 4-3, now at 6-5
    Vale 6-4 0-1
    Andrade 6-5
    Siimar 6-5
Goodger 6-1 4-2....e should make it 3-0 shortly

Goodger with a solid win....he played his best tennis late last year, seems to be doing the same now

Riffice gets a 7-5 first set
Siimar and andrade both lose 1st set tiebreaks, neither has been playing well of late. And the number 2 doubles team that lost 2-6....Andrade and Siimar

Vale is up 4-1 in 2nd, he should be the guy to clinch

Little concerning with Andrade in the postseason
In Singles-Down a set and a break today. Was in a tight match vs Miami. Was down a set vs New Orleans. Was down a set vs Kentucky. Lost his first set before winning vs Vols. Was up a set but about to lose his second vs LSU.
In doubles. Lost 6-2 today. Were down 5-4 to Miami. Won 6-2 vs UNO. Were down 5-4 to UK. Lost 6-4 to Vols. Lost 5-0 to LSU

In 6 postseason matches hasn't really had a good performance other than the comeback in singles vs UT

Vale hits a bad patch, now down 5-6 after being up 4-1
Andrade down a set and 2-4
Riffice up a set but down 3-4
Siimar down a set but up 4-3

    Scuffling a bit here

7 seed UVA is next....they have won each round 4-0 thus far

Teams played early in the year. UF won a split doubles point.
Riffice won at 1, Shelton won at 2 (7-5 in3rd) , Vale lost in straight sets, Andrade won easy, Goodger was down 4-1 in third, Grief beaten badly at 6. So essentially it was a 4-3 match decided by a close doubles point.
Goodger at 6 probably a better matchup. Vale probably paying better. Andrade vulnerable, as is doubles
