Vale forces a second set tiebreak, up a set

 

Vale is in 2nd set tiebreaker

 

Siimar with 3 break points to even his 2nd set, plays horribly tentative and loses them all

 

Vale up 4-2 in TB, string of unforced errors including a double fault and he loses his set

 

It looked like Vale got robbed at 5-6 in tiebreaker. He hit a backhand crosscourt that I thought hit the line-actually just inside the line-and the Virginia player called it out. I wish there was audio.

 

Andrade gets it done to make it 1-1

Riffice and Siimar both down 3-5 and one game away from losing

Goodger forces a third

 

Riffice was up 4-1 in the first set, that’s rough.

 

I thought it was wide, but you can't have an awful double fault to give the guy set point

 

Andrade 6-3, 6-4. 1-1 team score

 

Wow, Ross srving for the match vs Siimar and broken at love. Totally spit the bit, 2 double faults and a wild unforced error

 

Riffice goes down.....I would have bet a lot of money he wouldn't be first off the court with an L. Not the way to end an incredible career, hope the guys bail him out

 

Shelton, Vale and Goodger - gotta be strong, boys! Maybe Siimar can take inspiration from that break as well.

Goodger should be controlling this match, losing his poise right now. Botzer just slicing and hacking him to death

 

Riffice still has singles and doubles in the individual tournament, and let's hope we can pull out 3 more singles wins tonight. It will be a monumental task IIMHO

Yes, I was speaking of the team portion....and I'm guessing that's more important to him

 

Vale gets broken, then has multiple break points to even it......gives both points away. Now down 2-4
