I find their gator attorney to be more cringe then them - Darren Heitner. not sure how an attorney has so much time to be on twitter so much. But I find most of these girls video's to be pretty cringe --- bad dancing and stupid basketball stuff. but they deserve full credit for creating such a huge audience and taking advantage of an opportunity. just not my cup of tea
When NIL was conceived, everybody said they just wanted "student-athletes" to be able to take advantage of the free market like everyone else. But, now, they want to control what the free market wants and virtue-signal about who should be allowed to get the "free-market" contracts. You can't make this stuff up.
WHat I've noticed lately is that most of the commericials on the boob tube include at least one overweight gal in them.
I guess I'll never understand the Olivia Dunn fascination. Yes, she has a well-kept body (most elite gymnasts do), but I don't find her face to be particularly attractive. And after seeing her commercial a few times, was not impressed with her presence to sell a product - no smooth at all. But I guess she got in the game early and was able to make a name for herself. I understand why little girls emulate her (they seem to love gymnasts), but guys are getting a little out of hand. Are people actually buying things because of her? Maybe. I've never been one to buy anything because of some celebrity endorsement.
Beauty is, of course, in the eye of the beholder. Not hot to me. When I want to watch hot female athletes, I watch WSL women's surfing. Beaches. Waves. Bikinis. It just doesn't get any better. I grew up surfing in Daytona, so I am sure that I am biased.
Concur. I do not purchase based on celebrity endorsement. Respectfully dissent as to the lovely Ms. Dunn.
I don't know if the message they are trying to send is that it's OK to be fat or they're just trying to market the ever growing population of fat chicks. It irks me when most of the "models" are fat chicks on a particular commercial Then again, call a thin girl "skinny" and she'll get mad at you. I think people just look for any reason to get offended
NIL was designed for marketing purposes so players could market themselves and benefit from their image and likeness. Not a best player or most productive program unless you are buying players to win titles, which was not the designed purpose of NIL.
