(GYM) NCAA Gymnastics Championships

Oh my god. That Michigan fall might have saved our season.

 

Been a frustrating few seasons... so excited right now! This team has the talent to win it all... win Top 2 and advance... we should be close now!

 

You may be right. I think we would have caught them anyway, though. But there should be a lot less nerves now. (I mean on my part, not the team's.)

 

Any updates? I am at the O&B game.

Michigan falls again..

 

Michigan is Number 3 and defending Champs but falling apart.... Oklahoma and Florida will be a fun match up.

We roared all the way back after a terrible start and won the session.

 

We ended up winning the session. After 5 huge floor scores, Jenny sent out a sub for the last girl to rest her for finals.

Trinity won the AA convincingly (high score in the 1st session was 39.65). Skaggs also with a very, very strong performance gets a well-deserved 3rd.

Gators with 197.975. Auburn behind by 197.8375. Auburn was on pace for 198, but faltered on vault. So did we.

 

Auburn and Florida join Oklahoma and Utah for the championship.

 

Auburn's vault was actually quite good. The scoring was just much tighter than on the other events IMO.

They had an incredible all-around meet. I don't think they could do much better. Meanwhile we've left easily .5 out there with early jitters.

Hopefully, we're not feeling as much pressure after this. Let Oklahoma be the favorite now.

 

quick glance at our scores and oklahoma's seems to me it might all come down to the best on floor.

 

question for the experts. are the 6 athletes for each event designated before the meet, and unless injury they cannot be changed, or if 1 is having a off night can you substitute mid-meet?
