Agree. Thought that was an odd take. He was the best blocking back early on …by far. Though ETN & Montrell have evened it up somewhat over the last 4 games.

I think he meant reading his blocks as a ball carrier in the zone blocking scheme. In that case, he’s right.

Hate to say this but Wright isn't a good RB. He might be good for the Sun Belt but he lacks vision, explosiveness and power. Too many times he's running up some lineman's backside when he should just go around him. Then there are times he's got a lane but he lacks explosiveness to score. Lastly, he is the weakest starting running back in the SEC. Can he even squat 300?

So productive? By whose standards? Wright's longest run from scrimmage this year is barely a 1st down - 14 yards. Every QB in the league has at least a long of 14 yards.

Wright would be just as far down the depth chart at slot. Whittemore is #2 and gets very little PT.

Johnson and ETN are two of the best backs in the country. Not just the SEC. So that’s your answer

If I am Lingard, I’ve got to go somewhere where I can play because that guy has some talent

Whittemore should go where he will be used. I think he’s got the best hands on the team. Spurrier would have made him an all American. It’s a shame how little we’ve used him considering our terrible offense.

I have not understood why AR didnt target Naquan with that swing pass out of the backfield very much this year.

NW just was not a great option between the tackles.

Turnover is a problem every team has, especially teams that have talent. They want to go places they can play. If we keep our top two backs and are worried about our third and fourth backs transferring, that's par for the course and it could be a lot worse.

I can see why people think Whittemore has talent. Good length..good hands..I guess decent straight line speed..but he just lacks quick feet on cuts for route running and YAC. Unfortunately, this is common in our WR corp...although I think we're ok. However, really looking forward to our Freshman receivers next year as I think they have that cutting ability IMHO.

Why I joke, always run a two back set and constantly shift one or both into a pattern. Keep mixing it up. Of course, if they aren’t utilized, it will work as well as the play action.

It amazes me how often fans look at a player and don’t think he’s that good, when down the road we find he has been playing injured.

Will he have any eligibility left after this year? How many times can he transfer?

I don't disagree, it is about the numbers. If there are any injuries...

"Our terrible offense"??? Over 31 points and 430 yards per game vs an elite schedule isn't terrible by any rational standard

I think the offense could be labeled streaky or inconsistent but not terrible. They also might be averaging nearly 40 points a game if we hadn’t had multiple games hovering around only 50 plays. Which is an issue the offense and defense shared.

Jaquavion Frazier is the guy that should be getting more passes throw his way. The dude is skilled. Has had more of an impact than Henderson.

For sure inconsistent, no argument there. I just can't fathom "terrible". And yeah, we would likely have a LOT more yards and points if the defense could get off the field
