Our offense wasn't bad. Of course, if Billy did hire an OC, I am sure he is guaranteed to light it up, right? I mean, we've never had an OC at UF that didn't light it up, right?

 

Good he's staying as OC. Not sure about 2 coaches on OL
We have a lot of young guys so we will see if it helps. Might of been worse with just 1 OL coach we will never know.

 

C'mon guys... this was a presser about football. What do some of you expect Napier to say? It's not like he has a hidden (warp 9) spacecraft he's keeping from the public. It's all coach speak... always seems to be.

Head Coach of Defense to coach the coaches. LAUGHABLE! He did not have the nugs to fire AA. Chose to spend unnecessary funds to teach AA how to do his job and force the other experienced assistants to do what a bad DC says.

Ben Troupe is far from a so called negative nelly. He calls it like he sees it though and clearly has some concerns.

Chris Doering was also on and he wasn’t exactly upbeat about Florida football right now either.

Debatable. As a stand alone OC where would he rank in the SEC? He isn’t awful but in order to be a dual HC + coordinator you should be elite.

If anything Billy should be the coach that coaches the coaches.

 

The massed unfollowing on social media is disturbing. Now, we do not know the orders came "from the top," so this very well could have been something cooked up and implemented at a lower level of leadership. But if so and were I Billy my response to those people involved would have been something along the lines of "I appreciate your concern, but this is not a good look for us and does not reflect well on the program. We have an established and unified social media policy and program (aside- I certainly hope they do) to ensure that we are acting from the same page, and we need to stick to it. Major coordinated deviations like this need to be discussed before they are implemented."

If it did come from him? Ouch. That would be a frightening combination of arrogance and ineptitude.

 

Yeah no, football can teach you a lot about life, if that makes sense.
