Rick the scheme changed, but the fact remains these coaches I mentioned won a lot of games in year two. Some won Championships. Napier can't win the State of Florida, much less the SEC Title. If CBN shocks me and wins 19 games, I will be the first one on this board saying I was wrong. But I can't see the happening.
Some have been patient and some have whined the entire time. Hes had his time now though and its put up or shut up time.
Golden definitely has proven it on the basketball court and in recruiting. Napier, what has his teams achieved on the football field? In the 2024-25 basketball season, Golden has Florida consistently ranked in the top 5 - currently #3 and had defeated the #1 team twice (Tennessee & Auburn) in the same season. Golden may have a third chance to defeat a different #1 team (i.e Alabama) in the same season. Florida still has a shot at winning both the regular season SEC title and/or the SEC Conference Tourney Title. Under Napier, Florida has not even come close to being the #1 team much less a top 5/top 10 team. While recruiting is solid, the staff improvements look unstable.
Don’t think you can win with as much cos hung turnover as he has each year. This will be our 3rd CB coach, and 3rd Safety Coach in 4 years under Napier. Unfair to secondary to constantly be adjusting to new systems and coaching staff. No stability or continuity
If the Gators go 10-2 in '25 with @Miami, @LSU, Texas @TexasA&M, and we still have Georgia, @Ole Miss, Tennessee.. , Napier should (will) win NCAA Coach of the Year.

Actually, Lombardi’s statement was: “Winning isn’t everything; it’s the only thing.” Same sentiment, though.
I would tend to agree. But that ain’t happening with him running his O. Unless we get uncharacteristically lucky.
I thought it was: Vince Lombardi: "Winning isn’t everything; it’s the only thing." UF football fans: "Wait 'til Next Year"
