My son who is an avid Fan and ticket holder at UF ran into Sean Beamer at of all places Universal Studio Theme park. They took pictures and Beamer even gave my son his number. My son texted him and Beamer responded to the text. My son was really impressed by Beamer. My thought was I wonder where Beamed will be at in 2 to three years. I suspect he will move on from SC.
Hope UF respects USCe next year. I am not expecting a game similar to last season and in fact, I suspect USCe will be ranked higher in the SEC East rankings than UF when they come out. Some early prognosticators have UF in the proverbial cellar.
I think Shane stays at South Carolina long term. He’s very loyal like his father was at VTech. Best recruiting we have seen in years and some new thing’s getting ready to happen with NIL as well. Up to 6th in 2024 rankings and some experts think top 10 for 2024 when it’s all said and done. We will see though.
Wishing your program success. Gamecocks are an SEC favorite of mine. Carryover from the SOS days I suspect.
I wonder how hard it will be for players' coach to make it to a national championship. Only Dabo is the one that comes to mind. It is normally the ruthless ones that wouldn't take their time to shake a hand unless contractually required or are completely ungenuine who win the championships.
I like the discipline coaches but with sportsmanship and respect also. To me it’s like being a parent, I’m a parent, not a buddy.
USC had Holtz and the HBC and never sniffed a conference title. Maybe Beamer cracks the code but my money is on him leaving rather than exceeding those hall of fame coaches.
Great video of Shane and the team captains spending time with the Dream Team kids before our bowl…. Very genuine coach and person.
Shane lobbied for the job before Muschamp was hired.. After Will was let go he interviewed for nearly 5 hours planning on how if the given the chance he could make South Carolina a championship contender. He’s continually talked about how South Carolina was the job he always wanted. He was born in Charleston and loved being in Columbia when Steve Spurrier was his boss. With the expanded playoffs, his recruiting up to this point which is on pace to be the best in school history, his loyalty and love for Carolina I just don’t see it. Could he be lying and FOS? Absolutely… But everything I’ve seen and been told, Shane wants to take this program to the next level. And hell if he is successful and moves to a “ higher profile “ program in many media and opposing fans eyes, then it shows that yes you can win at South Carolina.. There is something different about this guy.
