This reminded me of the first game I saw in person many years ago. Had seats down low and was struck by just how big most of the players are. It really does not come across much on tv.

What’s even crazier is watching Rioux tower over them. This is not a small team. That guy makes Micah look short.

Rioux is surreal. I hope he has success because that kind of height has to be hard to live with outside of bball.

This team reminds me of some of those Jay Wright coached Villanova teams that had just incredible guard play and would beat you based on sheer teamwork and effort.

This team appears to be quite special.

With a modicum of athleticism he could be an effective middle blocker in volleyball.

Or he could be an actor ala Richard Kiel (Happy Gilmore).

I think this team has very good chemistry, but the ‘04’s were different. They came in together, lived together, did everything together, won titles together, stayed together and left together.
I don’t think we will ever see that solidarity ever again in college sports. Ironically, the closet I’ve seen was Martin’s FAU team that went to the Final Four…. bypassed the portal and all returned to …… FAU!

CTG says Ollie has improved his athleticism over the course of the season. It'll be fun to watch him develop.
