Thanks for putting the pressure on. Great interview. Has me pumped for the season. Can't wait to see it in opening game.

Great job, Brent and congratulations. I found this part interesting:
“Another thing we have done that I don’t think has been reported is, other than tables for radio and tv broadcasters, we have taken all the other courtside tables out, and those fans with courtside seats will be, literally, on the court,” he said.

This will be the student side, correct? Maybe not the rowdies, but premium seats. Let's hope those seats get filled.

Yes… or cutaway shots. The main camera will be broadcasting the game from behind/over the benches, and so they will no longer be in the background.

    So awesome! You tha man!
That $500-600k will pay for itself over and over. Like SS said, it’s essentially advertising for the program.
Funny, it seems like SS eventually agreed with and made public all the same reasons we’ve been pushing for the flip for years. Some people must have been in his ear

But, who could it be? Who among us is so important that a god like person such as Scott Stricklin would listen to him?

    Lol!
I’m not sure if the joke/implication was that it is me who is important enough to listen to, but for better or worse… I’m not that important! Lol!
That aside… Scott is, indeed, very easy to speak with and does an excellent job at being fan accessible. I do believe he does listen, and take into consideration the fan input.
Though I also liked Foley, and had spoken with him several times… he was not nearly as interested in hearing from the fans. And he didn’t even pretend to be interested. Lol!
Jeremy did things his way… and his cuticle of influence… “The Firm” as it was nicknamed… was very tight.
I know many will disagree… but I think both men are/were very good AD’s, but in different ways.

Foley made some good moves and some horrendous moves. He was good at getting things moving and done, for the most part. My biggest issue with him was that he always relied on "hunches" when making a coaching hire. I prefer solid data. Hunches are spur of the moment things.
BTW, he does NOT get credit for SOS, contrary to popular belief.
