No I think we are working through your feelings of resentment, impotency, and, in turn, anger. Then, perhaps we can discuss the topic again.

    You are clueless.
You should look up the definition of racism and get back to the topic at hand.

There are several accepted definitions of racism. Some focus on the individual (i.e., the belief that a person is superior or inferior based upon the social construct of race). Some focus on systems (the use of social organization to maintain social hierarchies in ways that align with the social construct of race).

So why can’t you see that you’re arguing discrimination and not racism.

It’s either crazy, or emblematic, how a thread over how a party might improve its chances in next election morphed into a thread about who is a truer racist.

It’s always about race, some are just slower to see it.

Racial discrimination is the foundation of every individual-based (and arguably, social hierarchy-based) definition of the term racism. For example, here is the Oxford definition that combines the two definitions:

    Discrimination is the second word.

You mean like disenfranchising their voters? Or "f-you if you can't handle the truth. This version of Biden intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever. Not a close second?"

Discrimination is a basic function of the human brain.
Some take it further and feel superior…and that’s racism.
You can’t appreciate the difference and therefore shouldn’t be talking about a topic you’re overmatched with.

It is when those "biases" are acted upon to disenfranchise or demean entire groups that results in racism. You cop out and suggest that bias is inevitable, thus, we should never address it or the harms it causes?

    Good point.

But in their well-informed minds, Trump never said anything solely intended to demean entire ethnic groups.*

Also - "They're eating the dogs!!"

    * To be fair, many Trump supporters are intelligent, and clearly understand that Trump was certainly trying to denigrate entire ethnic groups. They're just OK with that.**

** And why wouldn't they be - they're also OK with him being both a felon, and enacting a criminal conspiracy to overturn an election.

You better tell the NFL and all professional athletes about that.

All peoples have some biases, and changing human nature is a ridiculous attempt to change this discussion. Meritocracy is all about EQUAL OPPORTUNITY... NOT equal OUTCOMES. Equal outcomes are NOT MERITOCRACY.

And "equity" is a COMMUNIST TENET...

Gotta apply your logic across all industry?
Some people won’t like how that turns out.
And that’s why you sound like a kindergarten teacher trying to make everything fair.
    It don’t work like that.

How dare you to imply that words actually have aa agreed upon meaning. You must realize that totally ruins the Con's narrative. Prepare for a personal attack or change of focus. LOL

Absolutely right. Since it's already deemed not going to be fair... just leave it as is. SMH
And to hades with those grooming kindergarten teachers trying to preach altruism. LOL
