Guy has won everywhere he's been. In 9 seasons as an HC, he's been to the 2nd weekend of the dance 4 times and made the dance 6 times. He'd be a big time hire for them.

I live here in Arkansas and there have been rumors, throughout this year, that Muss was going to be looking for a way out this off-season. It sounds as if this team was a hot mess in more ways than their poor record.

Hogs were a major disappointment this year, but Musselman is a good coach. Maybe he just prefers living in LA to Arkansas.
Hogs have a great b ball history so they should have no problem replacing him.

The guy is a complete clown and a total pain on the ass. The AD apparently hates him. He can win, but jeeezus - he is obnoxious.

Won the MWC 3x and won 8 NCAA tournament games at Arky in 4 years (2 Elite Eights and a Sweet 16 appearance). Believe that's the same number as Pearl, Barnes, Williams and Calipari combined during that span, lol.

I mean… it’s nice and all but that’s not really any significant hardware. Let’s not act like we respect MWC championships now to suit our arguments.

Lol, ok if you say so. You asked what has he won, he won his conference 3x in 4 years and now that's not good enough because it's the Mountain West? Was tied with the ACC for 4th best league in CBK this season. Pretty sure they had a FF team last year. I'd definitely take 8 tournament wins over the next 3 years.

Maybe I just have a different standard of “won at all levels”. I wouldn’t characterize his record like that. I would say he “had success” at all levels, but when I hear “won” without qualifiers I’m thinking state championships in high school, NCAA championships in college, and NBA championships in the pros.

Well that's a tough bar u set to support your position. Almost no one I can think of meets those requirements.

What? I’m not setting a bar. The guy said Musselman won at every level. We are simply defining what that phrase means. We are not defining Musselman himself. The question is what does it mean to say that a coach “won at every level”? Do you think success = won or do you think rings = won? It’s really just a matter of opinion, and I was stating mine. Everyone is free to disagree.

Just seems like youre picking. No idea what happened to his team this year and he is not a HOF coach at this point, but he is a very good coach, just my opinion.

I agree he is a good coach. I'm not going to agree that he won at every level though.

Who will Arkansas hire as their next coach?
