Because he put himself in question by going into the house then running when he was discovered.

Again, the guys shouldn't have chased him but he did act suspiciously.

Why do you constantly avoid the simple question: what are you trying to prove?

They always called Desi cuban but I never heard 'white cuban'. Probably because no one ever said it.

Great, but justice was done and we can all go home, right?

I suppose. Neither Arbery or the 3 morons will be committing any more crimes.

I think its revealing enough you want to see them as both criminal, kind of gives up the game in my view.

At best you are just saying that he did suspicious things (in your view) and is therefor guilty of ... something?

    He had a criminal history.

"Arbery pleaded guilty to charges that he carried a gun onto a high school campus in 2013, a year after he graduated. Rodney Ellis, police chief for the Glynn County school system, testified at Wednesday's hearing that Arbery tried to evade officers on foot and stopped only when two of them pointed guns at him.

He was also arrested in 2017 on charges that he tried to steal a TV from a Walmart. Court records show he pleaded guilty to shoplifting. Arbery was on probation at the time of his death."

Again irrelevant to this case and why it wasn't allowed in court. We have a known felon living on Federal property in Wash. DC , he appears very suspicious but obviously doesn't jog. Too bad.

Fine but he was a criminal. On probation when he was 'jogging'.

Back in the 80s my wife's brother was shot and killed by the owner of a warehouse he had just burglarized.
No charges were ever filed. Why? Probably because he was white and deserved what he got. Ronny was a thug with a record. My wife shed a few tears for her brother when it happened but will tell you to this day he got what he deserved. I am pretty sure had he been a black man in today's world someone would have gone to jail.

Yes, our justice system has a known bias against white people.

The 3 white guys got a raw deal in the Arbery case. Bad venue, bad jury, hostile judge. The media always showed Arbery's prom photo and the booking photos for the McMichael's and Bryan. The judge didn't give the jury proper instructions that explained the law. Arbery was a career criminal. Crimes were occuring in the neighborhood if I'm remembering correctly. Arbery didn't run when he saw one of the McMichaels. He ran when he saw a neighbor on the phone.

Under the Georgia law at the time the McMichael's didn't need probable cause to make a citizen's arrest, they needed reasonable suspicion. No evidence that this was a racial hate crime.

Robert Barnes explains why he thinks the McMichaels and Bryan should have been acquitted. Go to 18:00 and start listening if interested:

    Define “a lot”.

Imprecise writing that implies but says nothing is just used to inflame. Typical crap we see:
    “Many people allege….”
    “Rumors have it that…”
    “Insiders say…”

Note: I agree with the top part of your post on the actions of the 3, with the exception of your assumption. You got a disagree for the assertion of “a lot.” Define this phrase then demonstrate its applicability or it’s incorrect.

My take is Chauvin was correctly convicted, but the other 3 officers should not have been.

However I don’t think the Chauvin thing it is a clear cut as some make it out to be. I have heard that evidence that showed using the knee on (or near ) neck was documented in training materials as a viable alternative was suppressed by the judge. Also, given his intoxication and varying information on cause of death, it isn’t clear to me how much his intoxication was a contributor, or even a primary cause of his death.

Nonetheless Chauvins duration of use of force was clearly excessive, which was obvious to his fellow officer and numerous spectators, so Chauvin should hold accountability for that. Exactly what level of conviction that should be isn’t clear to me, because ultimately I don’t have all the facts. I also can’t say with any level of confidence the jury got it wrong. Ultimately I just don’t know.

The jury knew all hell would break loose if they didn't convict.

The jury felt as any jury should always feel. They are sworn to find the guilty as guilty and the innocent as innocent, and there should be outrage whenever they fail. They did not fail.

They should feel intense pressure to convict? I'm not sure you're interested in a fair trial.
