I’m obese, dumb, ugly, and lazy.

    Retirement is dope.

I would also contend that a lot of Republican voters have this same sentiment.

The race-baiting righty MTG is at it again. Don't these people ever get tired of talking about race? Ugh.

A very triggering thread for this poster as he obviously sees MTG as his intellectual equal and hero.

Man… as a black guy that term makes me cringe. Always hated it. Is it not considered a big insult? Non-melanated folks use it quite often in casual settings.

That’s a pretty bad Robert Byrd imitation she’s doing there.

Laziness, self-centeredness, dishonesty and stupidity are not proprietary to any race, gender, religion, or political party.

It is a big time insult. I’m not sure how others use it but I am referring to the people that literally trash their place. Garbage piled up, junk cars 4wheelers, etc in the yard. Too many dogs that are uncared for.. in the coal mining area it is common place. I have no respect for those that don’t respect themselves. And too many times they are “disabled” and collecting a govt check but are able bodied enough to hunt, fish, solids jobs for meth money… etc…

I don't think white people are generally offended by racial epitaphs. Someone called me a honky once and it's one of the funniest things that's ever happened to me. I think it comes with the historical privilege of being a white person in this country.

Although NOFX did have a great song about it. NSFW with an F bomb.

While I hadn’t heard of that song previously, I did make sure to say non-melanated in my post. ;)

Where do these remarks fall on the Biden scale?

I’ll pencil them in as more offensive than “poor kids can be just as bright as white kids” but less offensive than saying it’s inspiring that Obama is the first clean, articulate mainstream black person.

One takeaway here is politicians should definitely avoid trying to discuss the characteristics of other races. That conversation is almost never going to end well.
