Yeah. I understand the point but it was seen and it should be called because “the screen” was not a screen therefore he was off the ball. I understand the point. Watching basketball because of refs (and I played in middle and high school) has always been a contentious part of the game. Some calls are not enough enforced, some are ridiculous. I mean if I’m being honest, even on our end when I think it was Condon who was going for that jam near the end they went to check for flagrant, I was laughing that they called it but they call too much and not enough. Just my opinion but gotta watch this team. They are so good. It’s been a fun season. But I digress.

I get this is not often called and I also understand we deserved to lose this game because of our horrific start. But, watching this replay, I think this should have been called, no matter what stage in the game. Pat Adams calls a ton of BS calls all during games and is so inconsistent that it can be expected. But, if this shuffle/blocking/moving screen is allowed, Clayton and Richard can score 30 points a game. It is 100% against the rules and they whistle lesser egregious screens all the time. It was obvious but they were not going to call it late in a home crowd setting. Why not take a look at the video? Adams does that more than any ref I’ve ever seen. I really hope he doesn’t get any March Madness games but I suspect he will.

I'm glad Patric Young voiced his opinion and agreed it was a missed call on the moving screen.
