My top 5, depending on the mood, in no particular order, and subject to change without notice: :)

Office Space. Comedy and for those of us that have worked at the office we all know Lumberg.
Scarface. Gangsta. "Say hello to my little fwiend
Terminator. Monster movie. "Come with me if you want to live"
The Big Lebowski. Silly comedy. "The Dude Abides"
Purple Rain. Concert. Some of the scenes were shot where I grew up.

Oh thanks. I’ve been scared of watching that one as it seemed like it was going to be really depressing, but I’ll put it back on my list.

Good call. And since I apparently think of Elijah wood and Daniel Radcliffe as the same person, this made me think of Swiss Army Man. Pretty awesome and deranged movie.

definitely....& IMO the ending isn't sad, it's bittersweet which IMO is the best emotion there is.

Both of these are awesome movies Rule 303: During the Boer War, Morant was court-martialled and executed for shooting Boer prisoners of war with his Lee Enfield. Asked what rule justified such behaviour, Morant famously replied: "We caught them and we shot them under Rule .303

    Breaker was also a poet:
It really ain't the place nor time
To reel off rhyming diction -
But yet we'll write a final rhyme
    Whilst waiting cru-ci-fixion!

No matter what "end" they decide -
    Quick-lime or "b'iling ile," sir?
We'll do our best when crucified
To finish off in style, sir!

Also Sophie's choice was one of those like Ordinary People where your heart catches in your throat. Such horror man sometimes visits upon others.

    Indeed -

Breaker is so great because it's a true story and the poetry at the end is so good...........

    A real favorite.
