Most conservatives are mad that Trump was kicked off social media but not me, because of things like this from his Truth Social account (In orange text because obviously):

"Affidavit heavily redacted!!! Nothing mentioned on “Nuclear,” a total public relations subterfuge by the FBI & DOJ, or our close working relationship regarding document turnover - WE GAVE THEM MUCH. Judge Bruce Reinhart should NEVER have allowed the Break-In of my home. He recused himself two months ago from one of my cases based on his animosity and hatred of your favorite President, me. What changed? Why hasn’t he recused himself on this case? Obama must be very proud of him right now!"

Trump is incapable of letting anything or anyone prevent him from sounding like a 4 year old. With him off social media we get less of trash like this and you can avoid having daily reminders that the President of the United States is a walking id with a smart phone. He's a total cartoon character that invites all the other lunatics out to take shots at him. It's exhausting.

My favorite thing about the Biden presidency is I don’t know what he is thinking every moment of every day.

Honestly, I don't think Biden even knows that.

I think he should be allowed back on Twitter at selected times, corresponding to when he's in the news for doing crimes or wants to brag about a perfect round of golf

A tv event I would watch. A round of golf with Donald Trump and the North Korean dictator with commentary by John Stewart.

It is a tough call. I enjoy not having to see his idiotic tweets daily and it just makes things more toxic and spreads more disinformation. The flip side is that his tweets wear most reasonable people down and makes more people tired of him.

they also allow him to dominate the conversation. Because for his thousands of faults, the one thing he truly understands and runs circles around anyone else today is self promotion. He dominates any news cycle he chooses to.
The less he is able to do that, the better for the country.

    It's like watching a 10 year old.

Two things can be true at once, Trump can be an undisciplined clown and the DOJ can be unhinged clowns chasing him around.

This thread is about the fact that Trump helps himself by shutting the REDACTED up.

We still get to see his dumb shit from “truth social” but I will agree the world is a better place with him off Twitter. The world would be a better place without Twitter at all either but that’s a different conversation.

I’m honestly surprised you and many others don’t take what Trump did with those documents as yet another example of behavior unique in our history which threatens the country - either democracy itself or our national security. DOJ showed great deference to Trump as a former president over the course of a year before having no other choice but to search his residence. Any other citizen would have been dealt with sooner and more harshly.

I have only one wish: don’t abandon conservative principles and policy, but do take off your partisan glasses - we all have them! - and see Donald Trump for what he is. Now that I think about it, another wish: see Garland as a widely respected and honorable man who has no hidden agenda.

Personally I liked Trump on Twitter because it showed me how deranged and fact-free he was. The problem was his minions who gobbled up all the nonsense because they couldn't discern reality from fiction. And that was bad.
