Obviously, talent is a lot of it. But Monken changed the offense and made it what it was. Uga had a ton of talent when bobo was there. He was ok. Don't think he did particularly well with shark humper. I think that bobo trying to run Monken's offense is just the thing that troubles are made of.
When was this exactly? The only time they were pretty decent is when they made big plays . . . which wasn't all that often. I agree though that if our running game had support from the rest of the team we could have been decent.
Is that the only way you can look at the situation? You could also make this statement: If we had a real QB coach and a real Offensive coordinator to coach up a NFL First Round QB, our offense could have been scary.
True, and that is probably why when an OC or something get's poached to be a head coach or OC at a new school, the results are usually less than stellar.
