Monday Napier Press Conference 9/25/23

Moved the ball pretty well
Except 3rd down and redzone
Play design fine (minus a couple redzone to help players out) execution and technique issues
Special teams good minus penalties.
Never had 12 men on field (my add)
Injuries led to lack of continuity
Going to need explosive plays aa running can be difficult in SEC
Step in right direction
Winning more 1 on 1

 

If we put 10 on the field for a couple plays we should be able to have 12 occasionally.

 

This game is always about the line of scrimmage. The team that has more success on the lines of scrimmage seem to win. Simple as that.

And often magnified as the game wears on by S&C and depth. So often top teams dominate 2nd halves.
