No problem, I can see you envisioning it the way you did, perhaps based on your own personal experiences (I know you mentioned the air duct hidden device above).

Agree that parents are in a tough position when it comes to children and access to technology.

That point makes it more important that they are aware of what is going on in their child’s life. This is a very sad case and my heart goes out to the parents - obviously grieving and probably angry at a world that can create monsters from a keyboard

I wonder when the first person will file for divorce citing their spouse's adultery with an ai.chatbot? We are about to enter the Black Mirror era of tech dilemmas.

Right, put something out there that no parent asked for, make it irresistable to teenagers, blame the parents, and go back to bed. Works every time. You may as well say the only good parents are helicopter parents.

Humanity has lost all sense of community and social responsibility. Parents have to sleep. Parents have jobs. Perish forbid, parents have small quantities of leisure time of their own and they shouldn't have to sacrifice any life of their own so perverts can stay in business. And kids lie and deceive.

I believe we have a certain degree of responsibility to not make life harder for others. These people should be buried under the jail.
