Mock Class even though kinda dumb to do now

I think we add McClain, Jackson, Castell, Mizell, Jean, James, Norman and Sorey. That puts UF at 20 in this class with a 264 rating. That should be a top 10 class or dang close.

These are the guys I feel comfortable we’ll get. I’m not sure who else might be high on UF or a possible flip.

I started to make one using his link but then remembered I was working and stopped after adding kelby Collins, tyree Adam's, and cormani McClain (hope springs eternal lol)

 

Lol man you should have seen my class calculator back in March when we thought we were getting EVERYBODY. Damn near was at 400 points lmao

 

I feel good about Collins and Adam's, decent about Mcclain.

 

• Need to add a couple LBs and OLs to that list and it’s a great class.
• That list also assumes we land seemingly all the top guys left on the board. I think most people feel we’re the favorite for these recruits. If they’re not committed in roughly two months we’re opening ourselves up to shenanigans from the usual slimy suspects.

Pick up most (if not all) from: Mizell, Jean, Norman, K. James, J. Jackson, J. Castell
Pick up a few from: J. Hall, C. McClain, Z. Hardy, D. Storey, C. Jones
Lower odds: M. Freeling, T. Adams, M. McVay, T. Kinsler, K. Collins, J. Walker, D. Leblanc, K. McDonald, M. Bryant, P. Howard, K. Mack, B. Thornton
Remote Flip Candidates: R. Kearney, L. Simmons
Maybe we'll add a couple of late risers that match the physical attributes our staff looks at.

McClain & Hall will be the two huge difference makers in vaulting up the ratings. Freeling who's more of a long shot would too.

 

Regardless of ratings and rankings, we need players who could grow into a DT or NT. The three linemen already committed look like DEs. I think we'll get three of LeBlanc, Norman, Collins, Hall, Walker, James, Hardy and McDonald, then one or two lower ranked big uglies.

No idea where we'll get the OL and LBs we need. Possibly JUCO.

 

I just don’t see a LB in this class. For whatever reason we’ve struck out like 9 times. We might add another OL but who knows?

 

Are Kirkland and Bryant still committing tomorrow? What's the scuttlebutt on them?

We have till January to fill out the class though I wouldn't get your hopes up for anyone above three stars. New talent at both positions will emerge this fall and there's always the portal and JUCO transfers.

 

We are going to reel in a bunch of 4 stars, I am pretty confident inthat regard.

 

I think he’s referring specifically to the remaining LB and OL board which look a bit bare from an outsiders view. Agree otherwise.

Unrelated, have you seen or heard anything about the Olympia DL James play?

 

Most underrated guy I have seen. Absolute stud who is going to kill it at the next level.
Have long thought he was the guy I really want in that spot.

 

Which spot, SSDE or a DT? At 6' 6.5", leverage could be an issue if he's playing inside. Looks like a prototypical NFL DE. Can't wait till he commits. This DL class could be one for the ages.

 

Possibly the most ever. Just can't close with the higher ranked OL and LBs. I have faith that the coaches can discover and scout high caliber 3 star talent. Nobody here was complaining about Pyburn, Farmer, Hanson or the other quality 3 star prospects after they signed this past cycle.
