Those counting their chickens prior to July 1 may as well quit counting. Attorney General Bailey Obtains Court Order Blocking Biden’s Latest Illegal Student Loan Plan | Attorney General Office of Missouri (mo.gov) JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Today, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey announced that the Eastern District of Missouri granted his motion to block Joe Biden’s latest illegal student loan cancellation scheme. His lawsuit targeted what the federal government calls the “SAVE” Plan, which in reality would have cost Americans $475 billion – $45 billion more than its last unlawful student loan plan. The Court’s order blocks the unconstitutional student loan cancellation scheme from taking effect on July 1. “During my time in the United States Army, I swore an oath to protect the Constitution against enemies both foreign and domestic. I took a similar oath to uphold the Constitution when I was sworn in as Attorney General,” said Attorney General Bailey. “By attempting to saddle working Missourians with Ivy League debt, Joe Biden is undermining our constitutional structure. Only Congress has the power of the purse, not the President. Today’s ruling was a huge win for the rule of law, and for every American who Joe Biden was about to force to pay off someone else’s debt.” Joining General Bailey in filing suit were the attorneys general of Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, North Dakota, Ohio, and Oklahoma. One year ago, the SCOTUS ruled unconstitutional a similar plan. If this plan advances through the courts, the SCOTUS will rule it unconstitutional again. " Nobody is Above the Law" Biden refused to accept the first SCOTUS ruling. It's Biden holding himself above the law that sets him apart from all other presidents. Biden will have to settle for drawdowns of the SPR to try to buy votes in 2024. Now that Biden's illegal and unconstitutional student loan plans have been blocked for a second time, dashed hopes of young people who are increasingly moving to support Trump doesn't help Biden in the 2024 election.
I think foreign students should pay triple of what American kids pay for out of state tuition. There are far too many of them here not to make more money on them. It's obvious obviously too cheap for these foreign students. So... raise the tuition. Maybe lower tuition for American students while we're at it.
