Nah. People handle things differently. Sometimes I write publicly but often times I don't. Friend of mine just lost a family member and his social media was flooded with well wishers. I only responded with a text after a day to let him know once the dust settles and he's up to it give me a shout. This says nothing one way or the other. But I haven't done it yet so I'll pay my respects and say what I know of Leach I like and I think he got railroaded at Texas tech, it never swayed my feelings of him. He seems genuine and grounded like our own beloved Spurrier which is why I think many are moved so much by this.

Yep. I think public outpouring is great. But its also easy and sometimes lazy. Just let the marketing folks handle it. It takes time to actually say a prayer, make a phone call, or inquire behind the scenes.

A friend was in Europe on vacation and his son passed away unexpectedly. Before the friend could be contacted, the son’s friends were offering their condolences to the family on Facebook without thinking. Fortunately, the friend did not look in Facebook that day.
