That is so awesome..

 

I love a story like this. Especially in this age where there are so many entitled, self absorbed young athletes. All of a sudden, cowbells aren’t quite as annoying to me.

 

Let's not get carried away here...

More people need to be like Will.

 

Would not surprise me in the least that he is a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. It's just about seeing a need and meeting a need.

 

Or he is just a normal person that doesn't need religion to do something nice for someone.

I bet you a lot of "entitled, self absorbed young athletes" do more than you think they do for others.

This is not to say a non believer couldn't or wouldn't do such a thing, however for those who are fully devoted to Jesus Christ, we do this not for self glory but for His glory. It's not of works but of gratitude of what Christ has done for us. So, kudos to him.

 

What ever it is, this world could use the kindness shown.

Didn’t mean to imply they are all that way or even the majority. We hear more about bad behavior than good behavior. Was happy to hear a good story. Hear plenty of bad ones.

 

I don't believe in Jesus and when I help someone I don't do it for self glory.

And are you sure its not of works? Without Jesus you wouldn't help him? You're only doing it to get those heaven points?

 

I'd venture to guess that a lot of college athletes/people in general are just like him, they just don't have the good fortune of having their good deeds caught on camera.
