In context, I was responding to a poster who stated if the gators were in FSU's shoes would I want to be in the final four. I am being honest here, if my team is not of that caliber, then no I do not want to be humiliated. If FSU had a punchers chance, say I thought they were a top 10 team then yeah give it a shot. But any of the real top 5 teams would roll them. With out their amazing QB, I would put 8 in the box and dare them to throw. Louisville is not a true test in a conference championship unless you're AAC not ACC. Oh wait, is there really any difference now?
And I am clearly not an actual coach ....just a fan like you.

FWIW, I think they made the right decision even if I don't like that it is a decision that determined the playoff teams.

Hard to ever see UF in fsu s current situation given the schedule the Gators play every year.

Yep and then you get a beat down if you don’t deserve to be there. TCU will always be known as the worst beat down in history.

TCU is an easy target given the blowout, but they did beat mighty Michigan in the semis. Maybe Mich didn't belong either.

LOL, I watched it the first time and don’t care to watch it again! I guess my point is, if the committee wants the “4 best teams”, how do you judge that? Everyone has their own opinion and I hate rankings based on opinions, just to subjective. The actual on field results should matter, especially when you did everything within your control to make it in.

    All fine points.

Um, how did this work any worse than the past, say 100 years?
