i wonder, using their own logic, money did they pay him to commit to Miami

 

If they get Stone later, they will have a top 10 class.

Next wrong assumption/prediction?

 

Fredgarvin is NOT a troll hanging on to every wind shift in opposing teams favors.

 

We cant take a recruiting cycle “off”. Even if we finish top 5 this year….do it again next year. One too 5 class not closing the gap w/UGA

 

We beat TAM last year and Miami beat TAM this year. Teams may be closer in skill set than we would like. Until we get a dominating QB and better athletes, games against SEC opponents will be tough for us. Our DL has not really shown up in games this year. That will need to improve or a great QB will have their way with us. Need to see our OL open holes for backs against quality P5 teams. Our OL remains suspect and our TEs are a weakness at the current time. Hope we show up at home versus TN. We need some momentum big time!!

Yeah, but it’s close enough to compete with the bigs who may be winning games because of talent differential. 5th vs 3rd goes to scheme , home field adv, lucky bounces etc. 3rd vs 19th, you can be spotted a couple turnovers, a shanked punt, and a meteor strike on the sideline and still win

 

So you say there’s a chance. It’s been pretty easy to pick the national champion for the last decade. I’d like our chances a little more if we were top three in recruiting the drop off after Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State has been tremendous. Five as a long way from one.

 

Several of the services suggest being
TOP 3 is a big deal, seemingly because the drop off to 4, 5 and the top ten is noticeable during typical recruiting cycles.

I don't follow recruiting close enough to confirm or deny this suggestion.
