Didn't we miss on an IMG offensive lineman that chose the U due to NIL money? Wonder if he might consider the portal?

I think the under is looking more and more likely. This is referring to a post about when Ruiz would be in jail for fraud.

This has been brewing for a long time....Any athlete getting a real NIL deal has representation, and that representation would be failing their client if they steered them to Ruiz.

That being said, Miami has many more willing billionaires and they can have plenty of cash if they got further organized.

While Ruiz might be in a tough spot, it remains to be seen if Miami's NIL prowess suffers or not.

The humorous part of NIL was the claimed strategic advantage we had by forming our structure early only to have implemented a flawed structure and now being last out of the starting blocks. Crazy how we have to constantly fight from behind In terms of facilities, dorms, dining, locker rooms, Nil, stipends, …. Think we are finally getting there but leadership has been deficient over years.

I know I feel warm and fuzzy when someone tells me to no longer rely on what they previously told me was accurate. How about you guys?

 

But, arguably, there isnt another school with a SINGLE booster who has been more actively involved with NIL than Ruiz. And that samw booster also seems to have a vendetta against UF.

So this is only good news if you are a Gator fan.

 

He has the biggest mouth and likes the limelight. My guess is that there are plenty more boosters dumping millions that stay out of the spotlight.
